Introduction

The Achievements for Spectromancer are very hard to achieve and it will be a long grind besides needing a lot of luck.

Online Achievements

There are 10 Achievements which can and must be obtained by playing online.

These are:

  • (Easy) – Chaosmaster Duelist Badge – Win a match online as a Chaosmaster
  • (Easy) – Cleric Duelist Badge – Win a match online as a Cleric
  • (Easy) – Dominator Duelist Badge – Win a match online as a Dominator
  • (Easy) – Illusionist Duelist Badge – Win a match online as a Illusionist
  • (Easy) – Mechanician Duelist Badge – Win a match online as a Mechanician
  • (Easy) – Necromancer Duelist Badge – Win a match online as a Necromancer

These 6 above can be obtained by winning a game against friends online. Pretty simple and there are players helping you to do them.

The other 4 are pure grind:

  • (Grind) – Death Dealer Badge – Deal 3000 damage to opponents in PvP play.
  • (Grind) – Armaggedon Badge – Deal 10000 damage to opponents in PvP play.
  • (Grind) – Still Standing Badge – Take 3000 damage to opponents in PvP play.
  • (Grind) – Death of a Thousand Cuts Badge – Take 10000 damage to opponents in PvP play.

You start a game with 60 life, so you need at least 50 games to get the easier achievements. For the 10k ones you have to play at least 167 games. Let’s say 200 if you are very good and win them.

Best if you play against a friend and end games at 1 life. Some cards can give you more life, so this could be a possibility to get it in a fewer number of games.

Singleplayer Achievements

These 23 Achievements are obtained by playing Single Duels against the Archmage. Archmage is the highest difficulty in the Singleplayer mode and really not easy to beat.

The first ones are using a skill a number of times:

  • (Hard) – Dragon Master Badge – Summon 3 Dragons in a single game.
  • (Hard) – Rock is Strong Badge – Cast 4 Stone rains in a single game.
  • (Hard) – Share the Pain Badge – Summon 10 Water Sprites in a single game.
  • (Hard) – Storm Lord Badge – Cast 5 Lightning Bolts in a single game.

Problem with them are that you rarely survive as long to cast or summon that many cards of that type. It also depends on your luck with cards. Probably best is to have cards that heal you or give you more life so that you can survive longer.

Still these Achievements are hard to obtain.

Then there are Achievements where you are not allowed to use some card types:

  • (Medium) – Fire Suppresion Badge – Win a game without using any Fire cards.
  • (Medium) – Water Suppresion Badge – Win a game without using any Water cards.
  • (Medium) – Air Suppresion Badge – Win a game without using any Air cards.
  • (Medium) – Earth Suppresion Badge – Win a game without using any Earth cards.
  • (Hard) – Big Spender Badge – Win a game without ever casting a card which costs less than 3 mana.

These Achievements are doable with the right card combination, but most of the time you are going to need to use every kind of card element to survive. It’s mostly trial and error.

The next block of Achievements are obtained by meeting conditions in a single game. You should take one achievement at a time and work on it. Most are pretty hard to get by playing normally.

  • (Easy) – Biding Time Badge – Accumulate 12 mana of your specialty.
  • (Easy) – Wide Open Badge – Opponent has 6 unblocked creatures.
  • (Medium) – Wall of Bodies Badge – Lose 30 creatures in a single game.
  • (Medium) – Scorched Earth Badge – Destroy 30 creatures in a single game.
  • (Medium) – Veterinarian Badge – Heal 50 points of damage to your creatures in a single game.
  • (Medium) – Photo Finish Badge – Win a game with less than 5 life remaining.
  • (Medium) – Photo Finished Badge – Lose a game where the opponent has less than 5 life remaining.
  • (Hard) – The Whale Badge – Have 150 life.
  • (Hard) – Quarterback Badge – Pass 10 turns in a game.
  • (Hard) – Arms Race Badge – Have an elemental in play with a power of 30 or more.
  • (Hard) – Rebirth Badge – Have 4 Phoenixes in play.
  • (Hard) – Overrun Badge – You have 6 unblocked creatures.

And finally there are two Achievements that in my humble opinion are near to impossible to get. These are self explaining but you need a lot of skill and luck to get it done. Everybody that achieves them earns all my respect.

  • (Evil) – Ace Badge – Defeat Archmage in a Single duel 5 times in a row.
  • (Hell) – Overrun Badge – Defeat Archmage in a Single duel 10 times in a row.

Even if you are a godlike player it takes a lot of games to achieve all of these achievements. Good luck with it.

Campaign Achievements

The last 18 Achievements are earned through playing the Campaign. Sounds easy but at least some of them are definitely a tough nut to crack.

The first 6 are pretty easy. Win the campaign on any difficulty. It takes some time but in the end it is just a grind.

  • (Easy) – Chaosmaster Campaign Badge – Defeat campaign as a Chaosmaster.
  • (Easy) – Cleric Campaign Badge – Defeat campaign as a Cleric.
  • (Easy) – Dominator Campaign Badge – Defeat campaign as a Dominator.
  • (Easy) – Illusionist Campaign Badge – Defeat campaign as a Illusionist.
  • (Easy) – Mechanician Campaign Badge – Defeat campaign as a Mechanician.
  • (Easy) – Necromancer Campaign Badge – Defeat campaign as a Necromancer.

The next ones are a little bit tougher but also doable.

  • (Medium) – Master Chaosmaster Badge – Defeat campaign as a Chaosmaster at hardest difficulty.
  • (Medium) – Master Cleric Badge – Defeat campaign as a Cleric at hardest difficulty.
  • (Medium) – Master Dominator Badge – Defeat campaign as a Dominator at hardest difficulty.
  • (Medium) – Master Illusionist Badge – Defeat campaign as a Illusionist at hardest difficulty.
  • (Medium) – Master Mechanician Badge – Defeat campaign as a Mechanician at hardest difficulty.
  • (Medium) – Master Necromancer Badge – Defeat campaign as a Necromancer at hardest difficulty.

And then there are 6 very tough Achievements, that require not only skill but also a lot of luck. These all require the very hard difficulty:

  • (Hell) – Grandmaster Chaosmaster Badge – Win 12 consecutive games in a campaign as a Chaosmaster.
  • (Hell) – Grandmaster Cleric Badge – Win 12 consecutive games in a campaign as a Cleric.
  • (Hell) – Grandmaster Dominator Badge – Win 12 consecutive games in a campaign as a Dominator.
  • (Hell) – Grandmaster Illusionist Badge – Win 12 consecutive games in a campaign as a Illusionist.
  • (Hell) – Grandmaster Mechanician Badge – Win 12 consecutive games in a campaign as a Mechanician.
  • (Hell) – Grandmaster Necromancer Badge – Win 12 consecutive games in a campaign as a Necromancer.

You should be able to get the Campaign and Master Badges in one playthrough, but i am not sure about that. Still you have to play the campaign at least 6 times over which is a big grind.
