Actual Key to Get to Control Settings

Choose the game you want to play, choose “start game”, then press the Start button on your pad or stick and it brings up the menu where you can choose “Controller Settings”.

Controller Issue

The game doesn’t have a default controller set, so Steam is probably using the default “keyboard and mouse emulation” mode on your machine like it was mine. Use shift-tab to bring up the overlay, or exit the game and right-click, manage, and go into controller settings.

Then load the Gamepad template. That should fix your issues immediately.

Alternatively, just disable Steam Input for this game and use the game native support:

• right click game -> properties -> controller -> disable

It should make your controller work.
