Basics of Chat Channels
Chat Channel Basics
- /zone – is for a large region of space near you.
- /station – is for everyone at your current station.
- /say – is the shortest range local chat.
- /whisper targetname – sends a PM to targetname.
- /c – company chat.
You can send text on a specific channel by doing the slash command followed by your text. It will remember your current channel. Just press enter to open chat.
On the right side of the chat box is a settings button where you can show or hide certain channels, but by default you see all of them. You can send and receive on each of them without having to “connect” to them.
/c = company if you’re in one.
