How to Fix BadError
There is a work around for this:
- If you click “Play” then try to join a friend, you get “BadError”.
- Click “Okay”. Return to Character selection and you should see “Play” and “Join Prospect”.
- It should allow you to join from there.
Alternative explanation for Steam’s users
If you take your ship back up to orbit, you can then just join from there. Join friends game through Steams friends list. When you open the join prospect you should see your friends prospect there.
