How to Avoid Joining a Lost Cause

When queueing for a match keep a close eye on the 3…2…1 countdown.

If you notice it go straight to the countdown, without saying “Waiting for X more players…” then quickly hit cancel.

This will of course add time to your queueing, but may be worth it just to avoid joining a match where the comeback is all but impossible. Sure, if you join and it’s 0-3 with a minute left, you might be able to pull it off, but why bother? Just wait for that sweet-sweet magical message “Waiting for X more players…” and you can join a full 5-minute match.
