A short guide detailing where and how you can gain access to the “Giving Grove”, where you can obtain a random parcel of items once every real-life day.
Starting Your Search
To access the Giving Grove, it is possible for you to do so in the early hours of the game, but it is highly unlikely. Its entrance lies within the Astralite Caverns, located along the first map of the Gold Coast.
The wildlife within and without are quite fierce for low-level players to cope with. From level ten and above, accessing the Giving Grove should prove quite manageable.
Traversing the Astralite Caverns
Traversing these dim-lit caves is a brisk affair, hindered by the occasional intrusion of a Starshell Crab, presence of a breakable pillar and the assault of an unhinged minecart.
No dungeon would be complete without loot, and this place has it in spades. I won’t spoil what treats you can pick up along your subterranean excursion, but many goodies here are exclusive to this very place.
It wouldn’t have earned its title as a dungeon without featuring at least one or two head-scratchers, either. So, put your mental fortitude to the test and see if you can work wizardry with these boxes:
Entering the Giving Grove
Towards the end of the Astralite Caverns, you’ll stumble across a peculiar fellow and a curiously positioned stone, barring passage into a certain chamber. There is another doorway outside that leads to the unlocking of a shortcut to this place, but if you want to access the Giving Grove, you’re going to need to remove that troublesome boulder.
If you are an avid collector at all times, then it is quite possible you are already in possession of that which the miner will need to be rid of that rock. If not, you’ll need to return into the deeper recesses of the mine to locate the items he requires. When you are done, the way will be cleared and you will be free to access the Giving Grove at all times.
Using the Giving Grove
Once a real-life day you can come to the Giving Grove and be provided the opportunity to strike three barrels. Each barrel will deposit an item randomly selected from a very large loot pool.
Will the items you receive be a boon to your coin satchel? Or will the items you receive aid you in your future battles? Or perhaps the items you receive will have you grieving for the Daystar’s next rising, so that you may try your luck once more?
Whatever the case may be, do not worry; using the Giving Grove is free each and every time.
