Vampyr - How to Get the Bloody Roots Achievement (Trophy)

This guide may help you unlock the achievement Bloody Roots which may be the biggest secret in the whole game.

Pandora’s Box

You will receive this investigation from Usher Talltree, who is in the basement behind the Temple Church (Nothern part of the WEST-END).

The earliest time to go there is in Chapter 5 when you are going to reach the Dawson’s mansion.

However, it will not allow you to enter the THEATER until you follow the main story to rescue Swansea at the end of Chapter 5.

You will find a lcoked safe in the basement of the theater and there is also a pinned note on the desk closed to the safe.

Pick it up and you will trigger the next step: go to the right of the second floor(you can use your sensory ability)to kill two guys and you will get the key.

Return to the safe and open it you will get the Usher Talltree’s notebook.

Remember: Do not peep the notebook or you will get nothing from him.

Then bring back the notebook to Usher and you will get a collectible named Origin of the Brotherhood. There is a pattern in the upper right corner of this paper. Here is what mine looks like:

It’s said that different people have different positions of the four symbols above the pattern.

The Puzzle of the Four Slates

You must notice that there are four active slates downstairs at the entrance of the basement.

The position of the slates correspond to the position of the four symbols in the pattern.

If you are careful enough, you will find out there are some strange symbols with dots around them in some collectibles of which the authors are all the same person Usher Talltree.

Open Sesame

You may now realize that the number of dots around the symbols is the order you step on the slates. Do it!

Remember: You must wait for a sltae to drop completely and then step on another slate.

After you finish 6 steps, the stone gate will open for you.
