This walkthrough provides a barebones guide to completing Railroad Tracks, primarily by describing paths to the sixteen memories that are needed to unlock the game. As of now the guide doesn’t suggest a specific order for collecting memories, you are free to organize this as you wish. In general the memories with the least text are the easiest to be found.

Recovering Memories

2.Follow the railroad tracks into the first tunnel. Enter the door in the tunnel. Exit the first corridor (through the door at the end), pass through the cellar room, and in the next corridor, enter the first door. Move up the stairs, pass through the room with the fireplace, and enter the white houses world. To the north east, find and pass through the house with the room with the table. Head westwards, and pass through the house with the two clocks. Head north and pass through the house with one clock. In this area are two houses you can enter. Pass through the northern one, with a plant inside, and pass through it again. This will evoke the memory.

3. Follow the railroad tracks until you reach the first underground railway platform, exit the station and head northwards until you reach a church. Enter the church and move into the back, where the altar is. Enter the crypts until you find a world that is made out of yellow hexagons. Move southwards, then westwards at the first intersection, and westwards again at the next four intersections (until you can go no further). Head southwards, westwards and westwards again and then southwards and southwards again (until you can go no further). Move eastwards, then eastwards at the first two intersections (leading north) and eastwards at the next intersection (leading south), then move southwards at the last intersection. Keep going southwards past the next intersection and then, when you can go no further south, follow the path eastwards past the first two intersections. The memory is at the end of this path.

4.
Follow the railroad tracks until you reach the first underground railway platform. Head upwards to the surface and exit the station. Head westwards and enter the yellow portrait gallery. Pass through the rooms (in either direction) until you reach a small elevator room. Take the elevator downwards, and follow the doors until you enter a portal to a large, dark world dotted with white spikes and structures. In the south west there is a portal that will teleport you to a new world, similar to the last one. The memory is to the north.

5.
From the first underground railway platform, exit the station and head southwards into the large medical facility. Take the elevator downwards to the paths that are drifting above an inkblot sky. Move northwards until you reach a series of paths that float above a rainy city. Head on (westwards) and go south at the first intersection, go eastwards at the next intersection, and eastwards again at the next. The memory is at the end of the path.

6.
From the first underground railway platform, exit the station and head southwards into the school. In the long hallway there is a door that leads into the gym. The memory is at the gym. (this memory is in a useful location, as it is close to the railroad tracks)

7.Follow the railroad tracks into the first tunnel. Enter the door in the tunnel. Exit the first corridor (through the door at the end), pass through the cellar room, and in the next corridor, enter the second door. In the following corridor, enter the first door. Follow the grey path, through the photographic library room, into the floating skyscraper world. Now move westwards to the next platform, then northwards to the next, and eastwards to the next. Then move southwards to the next, eastwards to the next, eastwards to the next, and eastwards to the last platform. The memory is in the skyscraper

8.
Follow the railroad tracks until you find a little maintenance shack. Enter this and follow the path, down the stairs, through the tunnel, over the starry bridge, through the abandoned facility, and into the closed of motor tunnel. Move westwards in the tunnel until you find the memory.

9.
From the first underground railway platform, exit the station and head eastwards until you find a multilevel housing facility that you can enter. Move through the stairs until you reach a photographic world that shows the housing balconies. You can move through this map by entering the doors that have house numbers. Do this until you find a blue room. The memory is in the blue room (behind the bathroom door).

10.
From the second underground railway platform, exit the station and enter the block directly south of the station (it has red windows.) Follow the doors into a red room, which leads to a path of heads and eyes. Follow the path, moving eastwards at the first five intersections (the third of witch is a face), south at the sixth intersection, west at the seventh, east at the eighth and north at the ninth. The memory is at the end of the path. (it is marked by an eye that is a slightly lighter color)

11.
Follow the railroad tracks until you reach the second underground railway platform. Move upwards, exit the station, travel southwards and then eastwards until you reach the southeasternmost housing block of the map. Enter this block into the blue tunnel complex and move northwards until you can’t go further. In the corridor is a door that leads to a path of glass tiles. Follow the path, move north at the first intersection, west at the second, and north at the third. Move towards the lantern to reach a second tile path. Follow this path and head south at all intersections. The memory is at the end of the path.

12.
Follow the railroad tracks until you reach the second underground railway platform. Take the stairs down. In the resulting underground railroad world, first move the the complete south of the map, and then to the west, to find a tunnel. Move along the tracks into the next railroad world. Here, move to the complete north of the map, then to the west, and here (slightly to the southeast) you will find a slim doorway, which leads into the boxes world. Move through the boxes world, which is not hard to navigate, as far as you can go and on into a small maze made out of rows of boxes. In one of the rooms in the maze stands a single box that is slightly ajar. The memory is in the box.

13.
Follow the railroad tracks until you reach the second underground railway platform. Move upwards, exit the station, and move to the southwestern block of the city. Enter the block through the yellow door, and pass through the yellow-wallpapered-rooms, down the stairs, into the newspaper city. Move to the east of the city, and move on after the newspaper houses stop. Slightly to the north (still on the western side of the newspaper cropfields) there is a small square house with three windows and a door. The memory is here.

14.
From the first underground railway platform, exit the station and find the road that passes the north side of the station. Follow this road in eastward direction, into the woods, and keep following this way after the road ends. The memory is in a cabin in the woods.

15.Follow the tracks into the brown agrarian area with eggplant fields. Once you encounter a road, follow the road northwards, until you reach a steep cliff. Follow the tunnel into the cliff and descend the mountain, upwards, via the abandoned mountain post. The memory is at the top of the mountain.

16.
From the first underground railway platform, exit the station and head southwards into the school. At the end of the school is a stairway into the crypts. Pass through the crypts until you find a room with multiple (four) doors. Enter the first door (westwards), and in the following corridor, enter the first door (northwards). In the following corridor, enter the first door (northwards) into the room with the head. You will find the memory as you exit the room.

Ending

After collecting all memories you will be able to follow the Railroad Tracks until the end. This unlocks endgame.
