Blue Team Set Up
Please note: all credit goes to Spedgar!
As a single builder on the blue team your main goal will be stopping assaults from head on. Here we can see one barricade in the stabledoor way with two others over the underhang. With your fourth placement you want to put a spike trap next to the sandbag wall allowing teamates to leave with ease.
As it stands due to you having a spike trap set up this allows you to have a well protected ballista behind it ready to rain in on whoever steps into your line of sight!
It is important to keep the house to your right closed off aswell so friendly archers can sit inside and pelt the enemy with ease! Besides archers or not, the more flanks you have closed up the better!
Here we can see a barricade in the open hole in the building itself with another barricade blocking off the enemy side door.
This is what it should look like to the enemy approaching from their point!
Red Team Set Up
Truth be told before I continue on I believe its important to say that most of my time winning as a successful builder comes from being on the blue team. This doesn’t mean that red doesn’t have some interesting ways to stop the blue team from taking the center though.
As a builder on red your first goal should be to lock down the stable cutting off an important flank for the blue team. By putting a barricade in the door you limit access into the stable itself.
Remember! There is a second story to this stable allowing blue team to climb atop a hay bale to get into the second story. This can be stopped by placing a spike trap and a ballista behind it to have a free line of sight on the stairs blue uses to approach!
After this reds options of defending this point isn’t as powerful as blues but you are able to attempt to funnel the blue team into a direction by closing off the rest with spikes and a barricade. Note there is a barricade in the crack between the large spikes to the right.
