OVERHIT – Affinity Guide

OVERHIT Guides:

Determining Type Advantages / Disadvantages

Affinity determines the advantages and disadvantages of the 5 hero types in battle.

Damage dealt increases when the interaction between types is advantageous, and decreases when it is disadvantageous.

Out of the 5 types, fire, water, and wind have an affinitive relationship, whereas light and dark have a symmetrical relationship.

Fire, Water, & Wind Affinity

Fire has an advantage over wind, but a disadvantage against water. Wind has an advantage over water, but a disadvantage against fire. Water, therefor, has an advantage over wind, but a disadvantage against fire.

Damage dealt increases by 1.5 times when you have an affinitive advantage and decreases by 0.75 times when you are at a disadvantage.

Light & Dark Affinity

Light and dark have a symmetrical relationship, meaning the damage dealt to each other is 1.5 times.

UR Grade Hero Affinity

Disadvantageous effects are not applied to UR grade heroes with a sub-type.

However, in UR grade hero battles, affinity is determined only by the main type.
