Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online – How to Get to Level 40+ Before Chapter #2

In this guide, you’ll be getting level 40 even before the rank 2 for guild. I’m going to show you how this is possible via some exploits or just pure grinding skills.

Step 1: Unlocking the Dungeon

All credit goes to Darklorel!

You need to unlock tetyu temple.

This is something you definitely need to do. Its part of the story. However, when you first arrive, you are insanely underleveled, by that I mean this area is level 40+. So what are we gonna do about it? First, ensure that you have all goddeses and candidates unlocked.

Step 2: Getting Your First Kills

Ok, so you’ve entered the place. What now?

If you open your map, you will see a quest marker. This is because by default, the game wants you to run for your dear life to that area. Screw that, we’re doing this the completionist way.

Go straight, and turn right. You should see a group of 3 red goblins.

First, bait one of them to one side. Then, ensure that no other party members are in the party, JUST NEPTUNE. This is going to be how the entire exploit works.

Then, start to fight him WITH ONLY PARRIES . By that I mean perfect guard, then slash. This is the only way to deal damage to them below level 20. Don’t get hit, and I mean it. 2 hits and you’re dead.
Repeat this, BUT DONT KILL IT YET.

Before killing him! Before killing this overleveled goblin, run to the other side and quickly add party members in. This ensures that they all gain exp as well. You NEED NEPGGEAR . I cannot stress this enough, she’s insanely important in this strategy.

Finally, kill the thing, and watch as you gain about 3 levels at a time.

Step 3: Even More EXP

Ok, great.
You’re at least level 23, Neptune and nepgear (Compulsory) and 2 other members (recommend Vert for buffs and Blanc for heals). Its time to take things to the next level.

But first….

There is a game mechanic you have to know. It’s called “Guard Cancelling”. Basically, while attacking, you can guard to instantly cancel into the guard animation.
Usually, this is done to quickly cancel out of a dash animation.

Try it out first: Attack, then just as the first slash hits, press block. This instantly sets you to a blocking state, and you can repeat the first attack again in rapid succession. It just happens that this works very well on a certain character…

Yup, it’s nepgear.

Using this mechanic on nepgear is op. You shoot about 4 “things” per second, and its ranged, meaning you can cheese some enemies….which is of course what we’re gonna do.

I recommend getting a macro for this, as doing this for 5 min straight isn’t the most fun.

Finding the cheesy opponent

Head to the end of the dungeon, then find a small cave opening with a big red doggo. Where the picture below shows, he can’t get to you.

And now, do what I’ve taught you to do.

Cheese and Cheese hard

Spam this, and maybe call out vert once in a while to buff you up. Otherwise, just keep spamming. When you’re about to kill it, swap in your part members, once again. Enjoy 16k exp at chapter 1!
