While roaming around the Cousland Castle looking for loot you can encounter a locked door that can’t be picklocked.

This door is the entrance for the castle’s Treasury. You can find it’s location on the following map:

Requirements

You can only get to this Treasury if you choosed to play the Human Noble origin story.

The Process

The Treasury can only be entered after Howe’s soilders attacked the castle. Find your way back to the Treasury and right-click on the locked entrance for the following dialouge to show up:

After the dialouge you receive the key from your mother so you can access the treasury.

There’s also a hint before the attack about accessing the Treasury. When you enter the lobby of the Treasury there’s two guards playing with cards. While following the shown dialouge options the guard gives you a hint about the key’s whereabouts.

The Loot

There’s three containers that you can loot inside the treasury. The two in the front holds basic items however the chest in the back has the good stuff that you really want to get your hands on.

The “good stuff” that you don’t want to miss are the following items:


Both items are Grey Iron (Tier 2) so they automatically become the best items that you can get from this origin story. They also have great bonuses so they’re perfect to start off your playtrough as a Human Noble.
