During you first few runs you will encounter Grandma Margaret facing a peculiar wall, mumbling a few things to herself.

At this point you will unlock two things:

• Obelisks.
• The Book of Rea.

The Book of Rea is managed by Margaret and provides you with beneficial effects during you runs.
To buy the upgrades you need Morv.

Obelisk Remembrance

• Unlocked: Automatically when unlocking the Book of Rea.
• Description: Increases the effect duration of Obelisks.

Hoarder

• Unlocked: Random event, Caeldippo Caves (2) – Lost Trenches.
• Description: Increases Morv dropped from enemies.

Runic Knowledge

• Unlocked: Random Event, Caeldippo Caves (2) – Lost Trenches.
• Description: Unlocks runes for various slots & increases rune durability.

Wisdom

• Unlocked: Random Event, Caeldippo Cave (3).
• Description: Increases the amount of exp gained from enemies.

Gemstone Proficiency

• Description: Increases drop-rate of gemstones.

Divine Relic Mastery

• Unlocked: Random Event, Caeldippo Cave (3).
• Description: Grants a second divine relic slot & decreases cooldown of divine relics.
