Borderlands 3 – How to Find Rick and Morty and Legendary Gun

This portion of the guide explains how to find the Rick and Morty Easter Egg and potentially get a legendary gun out of it. This comes from a side mission called Kill Wick and Warty. This page includes the level requirements and rewards. This mission is assigned in Sanctuary but it takes place in the Lectra City Zone of Promethea.

How to Unlock Kill Wick and Warty

To unlock kill Wick and Warty you need to accept this mission from a sort of bounty board located in the Sanctuary ship. Below is its location. If there’s no exclamation point there you will not be able to do the mission.


Kill Wick and Warty Side Mission Location

Select the mission so that it’s active. Fast travel to Lectra City, located in Promethea.

Kill Wick and Warty Walkthrough

Once you’re in Lectra City, turn around and head up the stairs to the right of the “Contestants Only” sign.

Stay to the right and head towards the waypoint.

Kill Wick and Warty. Below are some tips.

  • Keep an eye out for the green teleportation portal and take advantage of when they appear.
  • You can get a sense of where the next portal will spawn by keeping an eye out for where the green steak is heading.
  • Keep your distance.
  • Other enemies will also spawn in the area so stay sharp.

Rewards: $1,047. Sometimes when killed Wick and Warty will drop the Redundant Savvy Phebert Hyperian Legendary Shotgun but this is not guaranteed.
