Ever wanted to do a septuple kickflip off of a roof you can’t get to? This guide should help you out!
Introduction
All credit goes to nosebleed!
In Session, it’s possible to get to spots that are completely out of reach. By using the object dropper to create floating objects, you can scale your way up to rooftops, overhangs, and even the edge of reality itself!
This guide should prove useful if you wish to do exactly that.
The Tutorial
Step One
Place an object on the ground. Personally, I find the grind boxes and metal rails under “Misc.” to be the most useful.
Step Two
Place a second object on top of the object you placed previously.
Step Three
Remove the first object you placed (the one on the ground), either via selecting it and relocating it or using the “Recall Object” function.
Voila! You’ve mastered the ultimate skateboarding trick, levitation!
Step Four
You now need to start scaling the structure you’ve created. Take your skater to the top of your floating objects, and then go back into the object dropper and start relocating the objects again. However, be careful not to move the object that your skater is standing on, or else you’ll fall and need to start from square one.
Step Five
Repeat step four until you’ve reached the top of wherever you want to get to.
Then, it’s as simple as jumping off of your objects onto your newfound spot! Set down a marker, delete your floating structure, and shred to your heart’s content.
Additional Notes
It’s worth noting a couple of things.
- In my experience doing this, I’ve been able to land from any height, so don’t worry about your skater being unable to take the impact from a ludicrously big drop.
- Some areas might be blocked off by invisible walls. This is a new game, and with new games and new tricks, there’s going to be lots of trial and error until you find the best places to do this.
- In some spots you can fall through the floor or into an endless pit. In the latter case, the game can sometimes throw up a “Fatal Error” message, so if you find yourself plummeting into the abyss, go to your session marker!
Also, you can use the same floating objects trick to make floating obstacles.
