So if before Iceborne your PC performance was relatively good, was able to run between 45-55 fps at fairly high settings (with volumetrics off) and after the Iceborne update the game ran barely 15-25 fps, looked pixilated, strangely dark in areas and would randomly freeze for a few seconds – this guide for you.
The Solution
- Dropped game settings to minimum.
- Restarted.
- Set them back to normal (for your game pre expansion).
- Restarted again.
Warning! Kept dx12 and Fidelity off due to some rocketing memory usage.
