Monster Hunter: World – How to Fix Performance (Iceborne DLC)

Other MHW Guides:

So if before Iceborne your PC performance was relatively good, was able to run between 45-55 fps at fairly high settings (with volumetrics off) and after the Iceborne update the game ran barely 15-25 fps, looked pixilated, strangely dark in areas and would randomly freeze for a few seconds – this guide for you.

The Solution

  1. Dropped game settings to minimum.
  2. Restarted.
  3. Set them back to normal (for your game pre expansion).
  4. Restarted again.

Warning! Kept dx12 and Fidelity off due to some rocketing memory usage.
