Basic Information

Throughout this guide I’m using various examples of helpful moves in regards to certain achievements. Since PC isn’t a platform with standardized default control input signs I’m using universal abbreviations. Please refer to this legend in case you are confused about inputs:

  • LP – Left Punch
  • RP – Right Punch
  • LK – Left Kick
  • RK – Right Kick

Recommended approach for 100%

As there are no missable achievements you can approach the game as you like, enjoy whatever mode you like and simply enjoy the game. Majority (if not all) of the achievements will pop-up naturally no matter how or what you’ll play. There’s only a few achievements that might a special attention and you’ll find the easiest way to get them in this guide. However if you for whatever reason want to minimize the time spent on the way to 100% and cut trough it the easiest and quickest way possible, here are few pointers, otherwise feel free to skip this entire section. For getting a specific achievement, please refer to dedicated section of the guide.

1) Pick your main character, take it to Practice Mode and learn basics.

You’ll need to hit the Practice Mode sooner or later since there’s an achievement for it so you might as well use it for the reason it was made to: learn how to play. There’s a lot characters to pick from. Game is very well balanced so there are no good or bad characters, however some are easier to learn than others. If you are new to the series you want to pick an easy character like Katarina, Jack-7, Paul, Feng, Bob, Lili or Law.

2) Beat Story Mode and Character Episodes.

You can play the whole story mode on the easiest difficulty. If you started Story Mode on higher difficulty, you can always change difficulty mid-progress in Story Menu (by pressing the corresponding button) or in Main Menu > Settings > Game Options and set Story Mode Difficulty to one star.

In Story Mode you won’t be able to choose your character to play and you’ll be forced to play as characters corresponding to the story. If you have any trouble playing with those, you can use Story Assist which is enabled by default while playing on easiest difficulty. This setting will help you execute powerful combos by repeatedly pushing a single button. After beating the Mishima Saga storyline, don’t forget to visit a special episode for each character that didn’t appeared in the main story. Every one of these episodes consists of only one two-round fight.

3) Attain rank Warrior in Treasure Battle.

Treasure battle is an offline mode that puts you in a fight against AI opponents over and over, earning you money, customizables and offline rank. You’ll earn a lot of achievements during this step and you will learn how play with your main character. For every fight you win you get closer to a Promotion chance and then, when you win a Promotion match you’ll get a new rank and you want to attain at least a rank of a Warrior.

Fortunately that won’t be hard as it’s still one of the lower ranks albeit it might not be a walk in a park either, especially if you’re new to the series. As well as you rank up if with consecutive wins, you could get demoted in case you will be losing more than winning. In case you have troubles reaching the Warrior, consider hitting Practice mode and learning some new moves or changing your main character to another.

4) Clean up and get all remaining offline achivements.

If you have after step 3) still some not unlocked offline achievements now would be the time to clean them up. Look up what you are missing and use this guide to unlock what didn’t came up naturally.

5) Get the remaining Online achievements.

This step should be your last as everything you learn in the steps before can be used in online now. Difficulty of these achievements is directly depending on how skillful the online community is at the time you’re completing this game. However, if you have a friend online, you can easily unlock them together.

Story Mode Achievements

You Think You’re Tougher Than Me?

Finished the prologue of the main story.

Let’s Do This

Finished Chapter 1 of the main story.

You Challenge Me?!

Finished Chapter 8 of the main story.

I Can’t Accept This Fate

Finished Chapter 13 of the main story.

It’s Time For You To Meet Your End!

Watched the epilogue of the main story.

You should get all of these 5 achievements simply by playing trough the Mishima Saga storyline. In case you have any troubles progressing further you can always lower the difficulty and continue where you left off.

Master Of Iron Fist

Finished the Special Chapter of the main story.

After beating the Mishima Saga storyline a Special Chapter will unlock. This consist of one round battle against Akuma which will put your skills to test. He’s very aggresive and using some very unique and annoying moves. Here’s some tips on how to defeat him:

  • Don’t try to block his projectiles, as you get little damage even when guarding always side-step by double-pressing Up or Down.
  • If you keep your distance, he’s prone to start launching the fireballs… every time, after he’s done with the series of fireballs, there’s an opportunity window for punish… run towards him and beat him up.
  • Lower the difficulty… on easiest difficulty he doesn’t regenerate his health and you can easily execute high damaging combos.

After you reduce his health to the last percent, both his and your Rage mode will activate and he will go and try to finish you off with his unblockable Rage Art. You most likely won’t have enough HP to survive his highly damaging Rage Art and therefore you need to trigger your Rage art as he approaches you (before he hits you of course) which will result in your victory and this achievement popping up.

I Demand To Know The Truth!

Finished three Character Episode stories.

As soon as you finish the Mishima Saga storyline you will unlock a page with Character Episodes. These consist of single matches with characters that didn’t make it to the main story.
Win any three of these and you get the achievement.

Lightning Of Fate

Finished 10 Character Episode stories.

Same as I Demand To Know The Truth!, only win 7 more battles (10 total). You don’t need to play any more if you don’t want to as there are no more achievements for it.

Treasure Battle and Arcade Achivements

All of these achievements can be unlocked by playing Treasure Battle and/or Arcade Battle. To make things easier you can always set CPU difficulty to Easy via Main Menu > Settings > Game Options.

Instant Annihilation

Won three times consecutively in Treasure Battle.

Self-explanatory. Win three times in a row without loosing a match (you can loose a round). This shouldn’t be any problem for you as it takes some time until the AI starts to be aggresive and dangerous. In case you somehow got all the remaining achievements before this one you can always try playing Treasure Battle with a new character and therefore playing trough the early and easy stages again.

Wow, I’m Pretty Strong!

Won three special matches in Treasure Battle.

Special Matches will be triggered randomly as you progress trough the Treasure Battle. Do note that these have to be labeled “Special Match” (see picture below) during the loading. Turbo, Double Damage and Heist Battles does not count towards this trophy. You have to win three Special Matches in order to unlock this achievement. Again, in case you somehow got all the remaining achievements before this one you can always try playing Treasure Battle with a new character and therefore playing trough the early and easy stages again.

TEKKEN 7 - 100% Achievement Guide

Cool!

Obtained 20 treasure boxes.

You gain treasure boxes simply for winning in Treasure Battle mode. You get one for every win but quite often you’ll be able to get two or three so this achievement shouldn’t be any problem and will be a matter of minutes.

I’ve Finally Found You!

Obtained 50 treasure boxes.

Same as Cool!, you only need to get 30 more chests (50 total). This achievement should be yours in about an hour in Treasure Battle mode.

This Should Be Fun

Got promoted to 1st dan.

Your Technique Is Impressive

Got promoted to Initiate.

Roar! (Nice Moves!)

Got promoted to Brawler.

Hot-Blooded Fighter

Got promoted to Warrior.

Even you can get rank while playing the Arcade Mode, it’s highly recommended to unlock your ranks trough the Treasure Battle as you get all the other achievements from this section by doing so as well as loads of money and items.

For achieving the Warrior rank in offline pick your main character, the one you’re best with and you’re prepared to stick with it as the ranks are separated for every character. Every win against the AI will get you closer to the Promotion match which will get you a new rank if you win. Vice-versa, every loss will count towards your demotion. Road to Warrior should take you between 60-100 wins, depending on how many times you’ll lose on the way there. This will be the most time-consuming achievement, but you’ll unlock majority of the other ones while doing this one.

The Prosperous Inevitably Decline

Beat Akuma in an Arcade Battle or a Special Match in Treasure Battle.

You can encounter Akuma whilst going for the Warrior rank in Treasure Battle mode. However if you don’t, or if you did but you lost to him, you can try again by playing Arcade Battle where he can randomly spawn in the Final Stage of the arcade ladder (consisting of a mere 5 stages). Setting CPU difficulty to Easy in Game Options should ensure you in an easy victory as well as option to rematch if you lose.

Fear My Wrath

Beat Devil Kazumi in an Arcade Battle or a Special Match in Treasure Battle.

Unless Akuma appears as the final boss of the Arcade ladder, it will most of the time be Devil Kazumi. Setting CPU difficulty to Easy in Game Options should ensure you in an easy victory as well as option to rematch if you lose. (You can also encounter Kazumi in her devil form in Special Match of the Treasure Battle as well.)

Don’t Hold Anything Back

Defeated 20 opponents of a higher rank.

This achievement will come up naturally while climbing the Treasure Battle’s rank ladder. At some point you will start facing higher ranked opponents in order to be promoted. You’ll get this on your way to the Warrior rank needed for Hot-Blooded Fighter.

Miscellaneous – Combat Achievements

These following achievements can be unlocked in various game modes.

Don’t Take It Personally

Achieved a perfect victory. (Excluding offline VS Battle).

To get a Perfect victory you need to beat your opponent without taking any damage. Most likely you will get this achievement naturally. If you for whatever reason can’t get this normally, friend can help you get it via Online Player Match or you can try in Arcade Mode while playing with CPU difficulty set to Easy (via Game Options).

You Fought Well

Achieved a great victory. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

To get a Great victory you need to beat your opponent while having less than 5% of HP left. Again, this should come naturally or you can do it Online with a help of a friend.

There’s Nowhere To Run. Give Up!

Dealt 10 homing attacks. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

In case you don’t get this naturally, you can unlock it easily via Practice Mode. Select any character, bring up Move List and look for a move with blue icon. One of the easiest would be Alisa as her Accelerator kick which is simply executed by pressing nothing but a RK (right kick) button. Land homing attack up to 10 times and the achievement is yours.

I’ll Kick Your Butt To Hell And Back

Dealt 70+ damage in an air combo. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

To get this achievement you need to send the opponent airborne and then deal 70+ damage by hitting him in air (also known as juggling). Using a Rage Art on airborne opponent counts to this as well so easiest might be going into the Practice mode where you can via Menu > Other Settings activate unlimited Rage status on yourself. For example: Pick Heihachi and set your opponent next to a wall, charge yourself (by pressing LP+RP+LK+RK at the same time) and send him flying with RIGHT RIGHT + RP and then activate your Rage Art. This will do enough damage to get the achievement. Alternatively you can try with Lily. Send opponent airborne with DOWN + LK + RK, follow with RIGHT + LK and then activate Rage Art while the opponent is still in the air.

This is how it should look (courtesy of Alex Croft):

Just Relax, You Can Do It

Performed three 10 hit combos. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

This achievement would be relatively harder to pull off if it once again couldn’t be done in Practice mode. You can display exemplar 10 hit combo for every character in their respective move list during Practice. One of the easiest 10 hit combos can be done with Yoshimitsu or Katarina.

Elegance At Its Purest

Triggered 10 screws. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

Screw is again a specific type of attack that you can look up in moves list while in Practice mode and it’s marked with green icon. You can once again do this with Alisa’s Accelerator by pressing nothing but RK.

Power Is Everything!

Dealt 10 power crushes. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

Power Crush is a move that can be executed despite incoming mid or high attacks from the opponent (unless very low on health since not all the damage is absorbed). You can once again do this easily in Practice mode. You can look up Power Crushes for your character in moves list marked with red icon.

Overdrive!

Dealt 10 Rage Drives. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

Rage Drive (don’t confuse with Rage Art) is an enhanced move that can be executed while in Rage state (glowing red). Again, you can do this in Practice mode where you can set up unlimited Rage state for your character and execute your Rage Drives until the achievement pops up. For example, Asuka has a very easy Rage Drive to land as it’s simply RIGHT RIGHT LP+RP while enraged.

We Settle This Now!

Dealt 20 Rage Arts. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

Rage Art are very powerful scripted moves that can be activated while in Rage state (glowing red). They can be executed by their corresponding input or simply by single push of a dedicated button (R1/RB/right top shoulder by default). This should come up naturally or you can do it easily in Practice mode by enabling Rage state in menu and then executing it repeatedly until achievement unlocks.

Stun Gun!

Snatched victory from the jaws of defeat 5 times with Rage Art. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

To unlock this achievement you need to win a total of five rounds by finishing the opponent with Rage Art. In order to do so, you and your opponent both need to be low on health. This will propably come up naturally while you’re ranking up in Treasure Battle as AI rarely blocks Rage Arts in lower ranks. However you can do this Online with a help of a friend as well.

Anger Of The Beast

Dealt an overall total of 1,000 damage while in rage mode. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

For this achievement you need to deal an overall of 1000 damage with Rage Arts and/or Rage Drives. Damage towards this achievement counts from all modes except offline VS Battle. This should come up naturally, otherwise hit the Practice Mode and turn on Rage state in options.

Sturdy And Indestructible

Blocked 5 Rage Arts. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

You can block Rage Art (except Akuma’s) as you would block any attack. If you don’t get this acheivement simply by playing, you can also do this in Practice Mode against any opponent except Akuma.

Go to Menu while in Practice, access Other Settings tab and activate Rage for your opponent. Then go to Action Settings tab and set “CPU Opponent Action 1” to “Repeat Action”. New options will show up right under. There you select “Repeat Action 1” and you will be able to record a move to be repeatedly executed by CPU. Now you will be able to control your opponent. Depending on your controller and control settings you’ll see input for Recording on the bottom of the screen. Push corresponding combination for recording, execute Rage Art on yourself and stop recording. After regaining back control of your character you will one more time press the corresponding input to activate CPU’s Action 1 and CPU will start executing Rage Art. Simply hold back in order to block the attack. Do this at least five times to get your achievement.

Miscellaneous – Cumulative Achievements

It’s Just Business

Obtained an overall total of 5,000,000G.

Excellent

Obtained an overall total of 10,000,000G.

Obviously, for this achievement you need to earn an overall amount of 10 million in-game currency. You don’t need to have this amount at once, so feel free to buy anything along the way as the achievement is cumulative. This achievement doesn’t require much grind as the game is very generous with money rewards. You will get 3M just for logging in. Then you’ll get 1M for each clearing Story and Arcade mode. You also get money for fighting Online (even for loosing) but you should get the rest of the money needed for this achievement while playing Treasure Mode in order to get your Warrior rank for Hot-Blooded Fighter. Additionaly, you can increase the money gain in Treasure Battle by keeping a winning streak. Your win streak is saved every time you leave the mode, therefore you can build up the streak with one character, exit and continue with another lower ranked character which will face easier opponents and repeat to process to maintain the streak. However you should only do this after you got Hot-Blooded Fighter achievement out of the way so you don’t waste more than necessary time in Treasure Battle mode.

No Pain, No Gain

Dealt 50,000 damage in Practice mode.

This doesn’t need to be in one sitting so if you were already training your moves earlier or cleaning up some combat achievements from previous section you will have some work done already. If you are yet to unlock this achievement simply launch Practice Mode, pick any character you wish and release some pressure on the poor guy. If you are bored by hitting a motionless punching bag over and over you can set the bring up the Menu, go to Action Settings tab and set CPU Opponent Action to “CPU” and choose desired difficulty skill of your opponent. This will of course make the grind longer.

Miscellaneous – Stage Related

Achievements in this section can be done only in certain stages. All four of them can be done in two battles in Practice mode.

Destructive Drive

Performed a floor-breaking move. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

Going Somewhere?

Reached the bottom floor of the Forgotten Realm stage. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

You can easily unlock both of these achievements in Practice mode set in Forgotten Realm stage. In order to destruct the floor and drop down you need to do enough damage to opponent on the ground. If you’re having any troubles pick Jack-7 against any opponent. Then use repeatedly Rocket Uppercut (RIGHT RIGHT + RP) followed by Granite Stomping (RIGHT RIGHT + LK) as the opponents falls down. Do this until the floor falls (3-4 times should be enough) and then do it again as Forgotten Realm has two above ground levels.

Crushing Impact!

Performed a balcony-breaking move. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

Please Don’t Tell My Father

Reached the deepest part of the Jungle Outpost stage. (Excluding offline VS Battle)

Again, you can easily do both achievements in Practice mode set in Jungle Outpost stage. Only one side of this Stage is breakable and you can spot it as it’s the weakest looking one without any parrots or snakes on it. You need to get your opponent standing next to this wall and then execute a move powerful enough to get a wall hit. For example Jack-7’s Piston Gun Assault (LEFT + RP) or Bryan’s Slash Kick (RIGHT RIGHT + LK). Repeat until the balcony breaks.

Online Achievements

Not Bad

Won a player match online.

Go to Online part of the Main Menu and choose Player Match. Here you can either choose Quick Match to fight against random player or you can Search Session in order to look for a certain fighter. You can also Create Session and set it to Private. This also enables you to get this achievement with a help of an invited friend.

Yeah! I Did It!

Won a ranked match online.

Just like Player Match, you can either face a random opponent by choosing Warm-Up or you can bring up Match List to choose the opponent from a list of player currently looking for a fight. This again enables you to get this achievement with a help of a friend.

Okay! I’m Ready!

Won a battle in online tournament.

The third option in the Online Menu is a Tournament Mode. Again, you can either choose Quick Tournament to get connected with random players or you can Search Tournaments for a specific lobby. Tournament Mode requires at least four players but once again, this can be done with a help of a friend since you don’t need to win the whole tournament, only one battle.

Come And Get Some, I Dare You!

Fought ten online battles.

For this achievement you need to go Online and finish a total of ten battles in any of the online modes. Unlocking this achievement doesn’t require you winning.
