Townscaper – How to Get Hooks

How to get the hook/crane in Townscaper, none of the other guides seemed to have this one.

How to Get the Hook

Make sure that you have at least a one block gap completely around the block you want the hook to drop down from, as well as 2 blocks below it (as shown in the picture).

If you add a third block behind the hook, it will vanish.

The hook will also work if only one of the sides has a one block clearance.
