Short but simple guide on how to unlock the Secret Achievements in Star Wars: Squadrons.

Together Vanguard 

Destroyed the Cruiser at Cavas without backup. (Mission 1)

This is earned on Mission 1, To gain this cheevo you have to destroy the cruiser BEFORE you take down the two Imperial jamming ships. This has to be done quickly because the AI are are trying to take down the jamming ships from the start so you may want to try this on easy.

Asset Secured

Acquired the Not Even Close Medal. (Mission 3)

This is obtainable on Mission 3, to get the “Not Even Close Medal” the Victorum must escape with at least 30% hull integrity left.

Temporary Guardian

Acquired the Marksman Medal. (Mission 5)

This cheevo is best obtained during the 5th mission. At one stage you’ll have to shoot down rockets fired from the ISD toards the Rebel fleet. You have to shoot down every missile before they impact the rebel ships. You can position yourself either in the path of the rockets and shoot them down as they come hurtling towards you, or position yourself above the ISD and then target and shoot down each missile.

Safety in the Storm

Protected the entire convoy in the Zavian Abyss. (Mission 7)

Again, another somewhat easy achievable one, During the mission just make sure you keep all the transports in one piece. Easily done on pilot difficulty, so if you’re playing at a higher difficulty and can’t seem to keep em alive, drop down to pilot difficulty.

Flames over Mon Cala

Destroyed all fuel pods at Mon Cala. (Mission 9)

Basically, do what it says, During the Mon Cala mission, after you destroy a few fuel depots the npc’s will tell you to move on, Dont. Just stick around an finish off the rest and the cheevo will unlock.

Baited

Destroyed a New Republic fighter using a core near Sissubo. (Mission 11)

You gain this achievement during Mission 11 while flying for the Empire, during a stage you have to scan explosive cores, to gain the achievement detonate a core with your lasers that destroy the smaller starfighters (X-Wing, A-Wing etc). Can be a bit of a pain.

Against the Current

Acquired the Thread the Needle Medal (Mission 13)

This one is a bit of a pain in the pilot seat. This medal is obtainable during Mission13. At one point in the mission you’ll be tasked with flying into the Starhawks core. To get the medal you have to get all the way through the trench while being buffeted by the beam and to the core without taking any damage at all. So this is gonna take some quick reflexes and maybe a little help from the force.

Punch It

Maintained maximum speed during the Galitan escape. (Mission 14)

During the last mission for the new republic, in the final phase you’ll fly through the quickly decaying remnants of a planet. Simply keep the throttle up at full and navigate the rocks and the cheevo will unlock. You wont need additional power to engines to achieve this.
