Introduction

Hey there, in this short guide, I hope to help you get to know what you are up against in this fight to reclaim Earth. Below you will find short profiles on every Dinosaur currently in-game and some small tips and tricks to help you turn the tide of the war.

The Raptor

The Raptor is the basic mutated Dromaeosaurid enemy that will be the main cannon-fodder Dino that you come up against. They are tooth and claw enemies, needing to get up close and personal to fight you.

Asides from biting and slashing, they are also capable of a jumping attack in order to help them close in on you. As the standard enemy, they are fairly frail and any weapon can make short work of them. Their strength comes in the sheer numbers of them you will sometimes face.

  • Height: 2.2 M
  • Length: 4.5 M
  • Weight: 290 KG

Drops: Potent Reactant, Maniraptoriform Quill, Jackknife Chelicerae, Enhanced Sinew, Pennaceous Feather, Sartorius Tendon, Tetradactyl Claw

The Neurotoxicity Raptor

The Neurotoxicity Raptor is a sudden mutation of the regular Raptor, caused by the neurotoxins secreted by the Necro Flatback. Infected Raptors are distinguished by their bright fluorescent purple-draped bodies and the purple aura they give off.

Raptors infected by the Necro Flatback turn into literal ticking timebombs. They will act as kamikaze units, rushing at you and then exploding and showering you in harmful toxins. It is advised to keep your distance from any purple Raptors and try to take them out from a distance and as soon as you can.

  • Height: 2.2 M
  • Length: 4.5 M
  • Weight: Approx. 290 KG

Drops: Potent Reactant, Maniraptoriform Quill, Jackknife Chelicerae, Enhanced Sinew, Pennaceous Feather, Sartorius Tendon, Tetradactyl Claw

The Alpha Raptor

The Alpha Raptor is the basic Raptor’s bigger and meaner cousin, she’s the head honcho and pretty much always travels with a small entourage of her smaller brethren. When in trouble, her roar buffs nearby Dinosaurs. Like all big Dinos, they are also capable of a ranged spitting attack.

She’s only somewhat more beefy than normal Raptors, with most weaponry being able to bring her down. When fighting hordes, she should be prioritised in order to stop her boosting other Dinos. Explosives do wonders against her.

  • Height: 3.3 M
  • Length: 6.75 M
  • Weight: 375 KG

Drops: Dewclaw, Potent Reactant, Jackknife Chelicerae, Pristine Osteoblast Synthesizer, Pristine Apex Tooth

The Acid Raptor

The Acid Raptor is an acid mutation of the Raptor, and is mostly similar to the regular Raptor, but with one twist… The Acid Raptor fits this game’s ranged enemy niche, being able to spit balls of acid at players that will deal damage over time and leave behind a pool of sizzling acid on the ground.

This acidic spit makes them a dangerous foe during large firefights, but they are otherwise pretty easy to dodge and take down when alone or in small numbers. Knowing where they are, where their acid pools are, and being able to dodge at a second’s notice are the keys to beating this enemy.

  • Height: 2.3 M
  • Length: 4.5 M
  • Weight: 310 KG

Drops: Caputegulae, Tetrodotoxin Sac, Spore Samples

The Electric Raptor

The Electric Raptor is an electric mutation of the Raptor, which is capable of stunning players with its hits. Along with its stun slashes, it can also generate an electric pulse that slows you down, and is capable of camouflaging itself, giving it the appearance of teleporting.

They can be annoying to deal with if you let them get close, so the best policy is to try to prevent them from reaching you. They have a health pool similar to the regular Raptors, meaning they aren’t hard to bring down, you just have to not let them overrun you. While their stun can be annoying, they don’t pose too much of a threat.

  • Height: 2.2 M
  • Length: 4.5 M
  • Weight: 270 KG

Drops: Spore Samples, Potent Reactant

The Digger

The Digger is a bone mutation of the Raptor, which is covered in bony armour plates. As well as the basic gnash, slash, and pounce attacks, the Digger is capable of performing a burrowing ambush. They can also use their bone plates on their arms to bloc damage.

They’re quite a lot more durable than regular Raptors, however, their exposed fleshy spots are rather susceptible to damage. Their bone plates are best blown off using high-impact weaponry, leaving them exposed and vulnerable. Alternatively, their rear-ends are rather unprotected and a good spot to shoot.

  • Height: 2.2 M
  • Length: 4.5 M
  • Weight: 350 KG

Drops: Calcite, Jawbone, Sartorious Tendon, Osteoderm

The Watcher

The Watcher is the smallest and weakest Dinosaur currently in-game. It is a sentry mutation of the basic Raptor enemy, and possesses a cowardly personality.

When encountered on the battlefield, they should take priority over any other enemies due to their ability to summon even more Dinos.

  • Height: 1.65 M
  • Length: 3.4 M
  • Weight: 75 KG

Drops: Dewclaw, Sartorius Tendon

The Dasher

On a recent Expedition, Extinction Units found remains of another squad, seemingly all overpowered quickly, as if there was an ambush. In a fallen recruits’ hand, this skin sample was held in a firm grip, as if she wanted to leave us a hint before dying…

Something new is emerging to haunt the battlefield this July! What could this mysterious new mutation be?

The Overmutated Raptor

The Overmutated Raptor is a brand new hyper-mutation of the basic Raptor enemy, they only appear during specific Emergence Events. These Dinos are hyper-lethal and will swarm you in large groups.

Possessing high speed and hitting hard, you need to always be on your toes when fighting these Raptors.

  • Height: Approx. 2.2 M
  • Length: Approx. 4.5 M

The Bull

The Bull is a mutated Styracosaurus with an armoured face and frill. Its large size means that it has a beefier health pool and hits harder than the Raptors, but this strength comes with a small speed disadvantage. Their head is almost entirely bulletproof, so aim for the sides and rear.

While they are capable of short range bash and crash attacks, their main claim to fame is their charging attack which leaves them open for easy shots if dodged. Like all big Dinos, they are also capable of a ranged spitting attack. The easiest method to beat them is to use a satchel charge or any other high-damage dealing weapon/equipment.

  • Height: 4.5 M
  • Length: 9 M
  • Weight: 10,600 KG

Drops: Mutator Agent

The Armored Bull

The Armored Bull (yes, that’s its official name) is a bone mutation of the Styracosaurus, somewhat similar to the Digger. In terms of attack patterns, they are identical to the regular Bulls. The only real difference between the two is the Armored Bull’s thick armoured bone plates that coat its body.

The bone plates leave the Armored Bull nearly impenetrable, meaning that they must be shot or blown off first to reveal the fleshy body of the animal. Their armour is tougher than the Digger’s, but similar tactics can be used. Once their flesh is exposed, they go down rather easily.

  • Height: 4.5 M
  • Length: 9 M
  • Weight: 11,900 KG

Drops: Neurotoxic Slime, Enhanced Sinew, Pristine Osteoblast Synthesizer

The Flatback

The Flatback is a mutated Ankylosaurus with a nigh invulnerable armour plating coating its body. It’s attacks include a basic bash, tail spin, a rolling attack, and like all big Dinos, they are also capable of a ranged spitting attack.. It is best to keep your distance when fighting them, and learn to dodge their rolls.

Their weak spot is their belly, which is exposed during the roll attack. Alternatively, sustained, explosive, and shock damage will knock them over, exposing their soft underbelly. The Air Strike is particularly useful in flipping them over. Dodge, flip, strike, and repeat, is the attack plan you should use to overcome these armoured menaces.

  • Height: 3.5 M
  • Length: 10 M
  • Weight: 11,800 KG

Drops: Jackknife Chelicerae, Reinforced Plate, Caputegulae

The Necrotic Flatback

The Necrotic Flatback is a necrosis mutation of the Flatback, which is capable of turning Raptors into ticking timebombs. The Necrosis Flatback appears to have the same attacks as a regular Flatback, as well as the ability to shoot out strange purple spheres which appear to harm the players.

This section will be updated sometime in the near-future, I am currently working on compiling a master list of drops.

  • Height: Approx. 3.5 M
  • Length: Approx. 10 M

The T-Rex

The T-Rex is a mutated Tyrannosaurus with a face full of teeth and an insatiable appetite. She is capable of a plethora of attacks, including biting, stomping, leaping, roaring, creating shockwaves, and like all big Dinos, she is also capable of a ranged spitting attack.

Don’t be fooled by her heavy steps and lumbering gait, once she has you in her sights, she will transform into a speed demon. Movement is key when fighting a Rex, keep your distance and aim for the throat to maximise damage. Shooting the throat also has a chance to the stagger the beast, giving you ample opportunity to inflict more damage.

  • Height: 7 M
  • Length: 20 M
  • Weight: 14,800 KG

Drops: Tensile Membrane, Solidification Agent, Enhanced Sinew, Solidification Agent, Pristine Osteoblast Synthesizer, Pristine Dromaeosaurid Patagium, Pristine Apex Tooth
