Overview

All of the achievements for Killer Queen Black are secret. There really is no story to this game, but some people like to discover gameplay on their own. Please be aware that there may be gameplay spoilers in this guide.

The majority of the achievements must be earned through online multiplayer. The online multiplayer consists of two modes: Quick Play (general play) and Ranked (competitive play).

Ready to Bumble

• Description: Complete the tutorial
• Game Modes: Tutorial
• How to unlock: Play through the tutorial. You can access the tutorial by selecting Local -> Tutorial from the main menu.

Baybee Steps

• Description: Play 10 matches
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Start and finish 10 matches. Matches stack between game modes, so you could play 7 Quick Play matches and 3 Ranked matches to get this achievement.

Survivor

• Description: Play an entire game without dying
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Start and finish a game (a single map) with zero deaths. Its easiest to do this as a Queen or a Warrior in Quick Play.

True Survivor

• Description: Play an entire match without dying
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Start and finish a match (a best of five set of games) with zero deaths. Its easiest to do this as a Queen or a Warrior in Quick Play.

Killer

• Description: Get a kill
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Kill a bot or another player. You must be a Queen or Warrior to get kills.

Queensguard

• Description: Get 1000 kills as a soldier
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Get 1000 kills on bots or other players. You must be a Queen or Warrior to get kills.

Chicken Dinner

• Description: Win a match
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Win a match (a best of five set of games).

Nice Throw

• Description: Throw a berry into a hive hole
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Throw a berry into one of the holes in your hive. Only Workers can carry and throw berries.

Pollinator

• Description: Deposit 100 berries
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Dunk or Throw 100 berries total into holes in your hive. Only Workers can carry, dunk, and throw berries. To dunk, jump into a hole in your hive while carrying a berry.

Berry Hoarder

• Description: Deposit 500 berries
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Dunk or Throw 500 berries total into holes in your hive. Only Workers can carry, dunk, and throw berries. To dunk, jump into a hole in your hive while carrying a berry.

Easy Rider

• Description: Ride the snail into the finish line
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Be the one to ride the snail into the finish line to win a game. Only Workers can ride the snail. Anyone may ride the snail during the game, you just have to make the final push to the finish line.

Game Over

• Description: Kill the enemy queen on her last life
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Kill the enemy queen to win a game. Only Queens and Warriors can get kills. Queens have 3 lives in a game. Anyone can kill the queen on its first two lives, you only have to get the third (final) kill.

Knight

• Description: Get 100 kills as a soldier
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Get 100 kills total as a Warrior. A kill as any warrior class (sword, mace, or gun) counts toward this total.

Step into the Ring

• Description: Get placed in Ranked mode
• Game Modes: Ranked
• How to unlock: Start and finish 10 matches in Ranked mode. Your first 10 matches in Ranked are considered placement matches. After finishing your 10th match, you will be placed in one of the 5 ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Obsidian.

Silver

• Description: Achieve Silver Rank
• Game Modes: Ranked
• How to unlock: Win enough Ranked matches to be placed into Silver rank. Silver is the second level of rank: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Obsidian.

Gold

• Description: Achieve Gold Rank
• Game Modes: Ranked
• How to unlock: Win enough Ranked matches to be placed into Gold rank. Gold is the third level of rank: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Obsidian.

Platinum

• Description: Achieve Platinum Rank
• Game Modes: Ranked
• How to unlock: Win enough Ranked matches to be placed into Platinum rank. Platinum is the fourth level of rank: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Obsidian.

Obsidian

• Description: Achieve Obsidian Rank
• Game Modes: Ranked
• How to unlock: Win enough Ranked matches to be placed into Obsidian rank. Obsidian is the fifth and final level of rank: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Obsidian.

Moonraker

• Description: Headshot the enemy queen in front of the moon on Split Juniper on her last life
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Similar to the Headshot achievement, but the moon on Split Juniper must fully in the ending hex screen. Only a Gun class Warrior can get headshots. A special end screen hex frame will show when a Moonraker is achieved.

*This achievement is extremely difficult to obtain through natural gameplay. If you’re having trouble and are okay with “cheating”, I would recommend having a friend play the enemy queen in Quick Play. Just have them fly on the ceiling by the moon while you get a Gun and shoot them 3 times.

It’s Good to be Queen

• Description: Play 10 hours as Queen
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Play as Queen for a total of 10 hours in game. You can check how many hours you’ve played as Queen, Warrior, and Worker by selecting “Profile” from the main menu.

Knight life

• Description: Play 10 hours as a soldier
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Play as a Warrior for a total of 10 hours in game. You can check how many hours you’ve played as Queen, Warrior, and Worker by selecting “Profile” from the main menu.

Workers of the World Unite

• Description: Play 10 hours as a worker
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Play as Worker for a total of 10 hours in game. You can check how many hours you’ve played as Queen, Warrior, and Worker by selecting “Profile” from the main menu.

Family Portrait

• Description: Win a game with your entire team in the end hex
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Win a game through any means (Economy, Military, or Snail) and have all four members of your team in the end screen hex. Each player only has to be partially in view. A special end screen frame will show when a Family Portrait is achieved.

Family Reunion

• Description: End a game with all players in the end hex
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Win a game through any means (Economy, Military, or Snail) and have all eight players in the game in the end screen hex. Each player only has to be partially in view. A special end screen frame will show when a Family Reunion is achieved.

*This achievement is extremely difficult to obtain through natural gameplay. If you’re having trouble and are okay with “cheating”, I would recommend having 7 other friends (Join the KQB Discord[kqbdiscord.com]) join you in Quick Play. Have everyone huddle together near the finish line on one side of the map. Then send a Worker to ride the snail to that finish line.

Hat Trick

• Description: Kill the enemy queen three times in one game without dying
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Must be done as a Queen of a Warrior. You cannot have any deaths during the map. A special end screen frame will show when a hat trick has been achieved.

Non-stop Snail

• Description: Ride the snail all the way without jumping off or being killed
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Ride the snail from its starting position into the goal without being killed or jumping off. The best way to do this is to run straight to the snail at the start of the map. Hold left/right and hope you survive. A special end screen frame will show when a Non-stop Snail has been achieved.

Headshot

• Description: Hit the enemy queen in the head with a laser shot on her last life
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Only a Gun/Laser class Warrior can get this achievement. You must shoot the queen in the head, so aim high. This must be the third (final) kill. A special end screen frame will show when a Headshot has been achieved.

On Fire

• Description: Win an economic victory entirely by throw-ins
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: You must throw every berry into your hive. If someone else gets a berry in or you dunk a berry you will not get the achievement. A special end screen frame will show when an On Fire is achieved.

That’s Amore

• Description: Kill the enemy queen in front of the moon on Split Juniper to win the game
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Kill the enemy queen on her last life with the moon in full view of the end screen hex. This can be done as Queen or any class of Warrior. A special end screen frame fill show when a That’s Amore has been achieved.

Slow & Steady

• Description: 10,000 pixels travelled riding the snail
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Ride the snail 10,000 pixels total.

Snail Around the World

• Description: 24,901 pixels travelled riding the snail
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Ride the snail 24,901 pixels total.

Full Couch

• Description: Play an online game with 4 people on one team locally
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: Get 3 friends to play KQB with you at home. You can also just connect 4 controllers and play a Quick Play match.

Party Up

• Description: Join a party or invite a friend to your party
• Game Modes: None
• How to unlock: You can access the built in party functions in the top left corner of the screen.

Thanks for Playing

• Description: Watch the Credits
• Game Modes: None
• How to unlock: You can watch the credits by selecting Options -> Credits from the main menu.

Kobee

• Description: Deposit 30 or more berries in a match
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: You must throw or dunk 30 berries into your own hive in one match (best of 5 set of games). You can tell how many berries you got in on the stats screen after each match.

Seize the Means of Production

• Description: Win a match with 3 economic victories
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: You must win a match (best of 5 set of games) with an economic win on all 3 games.

Rodeo

• Description: Win a match with 3 snail victories
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: You must win a match (best of 5 set of games) with a snail win on all 3 games.

Stingers Out

• Description: Win a match with 3 military victories
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: You must win a match (best of 5 set of games) with a military win on all 3 games.

The Path of Balance

• Description: Win a match with one of each victory condition
• Game Modes: Quick Play or Ranked
• How to unlock: You must win a match (best of 5 set of games) with 1 of each win condition per map: economic, snail, and military.
