  1. Pick a class to compliment a teams composition

Try to pick a class which helps your teams overall damage output and or provides other forms of support.

  1. Use health kits appropriately.

You do not have to heal after every round, when you are still on a thousand or even 750 health, there is no need to heal yourself as the excess health the kit could provide is lost forever.

  1. Use turret ammunition appropriately

You do not have to restock the turret immediately, one can leave them for the later waves (I mean, unless i am mistaken, however those med-kits and ammo-packs shouldn’t be having a timer on them, right? There was once an ammo drop out of reach in a match i attended, and that thing was still there after ~20 mins).

  1. Have person one dedicated to clean up trash whilst 2 focus on the big ones

If no-one is doing it, please do it yourself, i know it is tempting, and I have to resist that temptation myself also, to get the killing blow on a big one, but you didn’t kill it anyways. Cleaning up the ankle-biters before they can bite those ankles will result in reducing up to thousands of lost health-points. Also, “kill-stealing” can become an art this way and is much more satisfying.

  1. Do not randomly trigger cool-downs, trigger them in the flow of the game

After you ran the gauntlet a few times you should start getting a feel for when what and how ‘spawns’ during the game, in other words, a flow of battle should become familiar, trigger your cool-downs appropriately. Keep in mind that in-between waves, you have 20 seconds cool-down, have your cool-downs on recharge during this break.

  1. Addons

Don’t hesitate to bring and use mines, turrets, grids or drones, or even rounds, to enhance your survivability.

  1. Win

You know, there are many more tips and tricks that i do not know about (yet), and others surely do know about them, probably much more in depth and elaborate and helpful then these 6 here, however if you are just playing intense mode, i consider that these should at least help you trudge along nice and comfy and can definitely go to higher waves like this in a pug.
