Tips to Play Fighter Class as Solo

Classes and balance

  • Some classes are easier to solo with then other but so far I have found a way to make each class viable in solo regular and high roller here are a few suggestions.

Fighter

  • Victory rush/second wind Perks Swift > combo atk > defense expert > projectile resistance.

Tactics

  • Use victory rush to get heals from spiders/dragonflies.

Second wind early its a heal over time if you are missing 15% or more and going into a pvp its good to pop.

Don’t rush in let players come to you fight choke points.

Gear

  • Anything with + damage weapons a sword/board works but spears are the safest might take a cycle or 2 to find a spear on vendor.

Pros

  • More HP better gear options to start then most.

Cons

  • Plate with + damage can be tough to get, slower move so you have to engage sparingly and in a controlled manner.

Looting

  • Clear the whole room then loot break all boxes/barrels before looting in the long run this will save you as you are getting all the noise out the way faster especially early on if you are close to other spawns

Shift walk if the best way to engage even as a fighter you can sneak up on players if you have a good spear/halbert/longsword you can kill 1-2 people in a 3 man before the rest can react allot times.

Consumes

  • Invis pots/shield pots should be used during any engagement where you have time don’t horde them use them.

Hard parts

  • Skelly archers I have started to say boop out loud when they raise there bow if you just say boop then duck they miss about 4/5 of their shots.

Sweaty 3 mans if the event you see them first either stay back watch wait for them to get in a fight and backdoor or move away as quietly as possible

Thing to avoid

  • Until you get decent gear ro get good at combat avoid trying to solo wraths and large rooms where you are sure to get multiple mobs at once. Skelly captain is easy with a spear if you can fight a pillar and circle to the left the whole fight it will obstruct his wide swing and allow you to tap poke over his shield till he dies.

If you stick to smaller rooms and play the edge of circle and dip out at your first blue port a few times you will start to accumulate a ton wealth fast even white greys sell for 4-8g.
