How Many Sleep Darts Does it Take to Tranq a Big Fish?

When you give a weapon the Tranq upgrade, they all have a 40% chance to put any animal no matter the size to sleep.

Problem is you might kill them if you are unlucky with the sleep chance. If you want to use the sleep dart gun you need to to get the sea people workshop open, to get the level 4 sleep dart gun. Two darts will put all the very large fish to sleep.

Note: Catching fish alive gives 3 Stars and more meat and a higher chance to get their eggs for the fish farm.
