Deadlock – How to Change Gameplay Server Region

Guide to Change Gameplay Server Region

Open the game
Open the Console (press F7)
Enter one of the following commands:

North America

citadel_region_override 0

Europe

citadel_region_override 1

Asia

citadel_region_override 2

South America

citadel_region_override 3

Oceania

citadel_region_override 5

Press F7 again to close the console

To revert back to your default region press F7 and enter the following into the console:

citadel_region_override -1

If you are unsure what region your are in look in the bottom right “pane” on the Deadlock main menu screen.

Does it save your changes?

No it doesnt save to your games config afaik you have to do it each time the client is opened as it will reset to your default/closest server.

Can i play on different server playtest times?

Yes different servers have different playtest times.

But just because your local server may be out of playtest time doesnt mean you should change just to play at a server distanced from your location.

Its done for a reason. You will experience D/C steam issues etc if your ping is too high. the threshold is quite low during playtest. not recommended.

1 – Europe (Stockholm)
2 – Asia (Hong Kong)
3 – SA (Santiago)
5 – Oceania (Sydney)
