Death Must Die – Mono-Landslide D100 Merris Sorceress Build

Quick Guide to Merris Sorceress Build

Build Enablers:

Esoteric Flow (tree) + Surge (tree) + 1 Dash Charge (boots) + Rockslide spell (earth god)

Stat Prio on Gear:

  • +Cast projectiles (act 1 drops a staff with +5 cast projectiles, thats all you really need in this department)
  • +Alterations > Banishes = Rerolls
  • +(Rare proc) chance% to cast frost nova on dash
  • +% Cooldown Reduction
  • +% Duration
  • +% Master/Legend Offers
  • +% Luck

Boon Selection Strat:

  • Fish for Rockslide within like 4-5 alterations, if can’t get it just restart run (Earth God)
  • Fish for cooldown reduction (Thunder God)
  • If you see Fates drop some rerolls to try find +1 dash (you won’t get it most runs) – settle for +dice boon often times but don’t commit too hard. Never alteration Fates.
  • If you see Justice always pick some boon so that you will keep seeing her again – you will be committing a lot in her passives later down the road. Also – she has the best legendary boons.
  • Make sure Rockslide is your only cast, do not pick legendary casts
  • Use banishes on Earth god to make sure you always get rockslide without having to waste rerolls. Later you want to banish her off completely.
  • Remaining banishes use on Justice and Fates to increase odds of getting good boons.
  • On lightning god you can take Tornado + Thunderstruck combo which can be reliably used on bosses to vacuum all the ads on top of them (more dps, more cc, more security)

Tips:

Dash around with autoattack disabled. Even if you go for Tornado + Thunderstruck enable autoattack only when you’re engaging with the boss right after procing thunderstruck.
