Guide to All Game Modes

Play As Survivor (vs. Player)

Cooperate with a team of players to defeat the demon controlled by another player. This is an ultimate 4v1 experience where you take the role of Survivor.

Play As The Kandarian Demon (vs. Player)

Take control of the Kandarian Demon and defeat a team of Survivor players. This is an ultimate 4v1 experience where you take the role of Demon.

Play as Survivor (vs. AI)

Cooperate with a team of players to defeat an AI-controlled demon. In this mode, you play with three other players versus an AI demon.

Play Solo (vs. AI)

Play with an AI-controlled team of Survivors against an AI-controlled demon. In this mode, you can play with a group of AI partners versus an AI demon.

Private Match

Play with friends in a closed game. This mode requires a minimum of 2 players in a match, so there’s at least one survivor and one Kandarian Demon. This is the only mode where you can play 1v1, 2v1, 3v1, or 4v1 custom games.

Missions

Missions are single-player experiences that take you through the world of Evil Dead: The Game. You’ll relive memorable movie moments, learn more about gameplay mechanics and unlock characters, outfits, and lore sound tapes.

Exploration

Explore the maps at your own pace, but beware – you’re not alone.
