Fairytale Solitaire: Red Riding Hood – Game Fix / Freezes After Starting (Win 10)

Well, I went to test my game these days and it crashed right after starting. I tried to ask for a refund, but I was not successful (because I had bought it for a while). So what I had to do was try to find a solution. And I did. I created a guide to solve this problem (the solution is quite simple). Follow the guide.

The Fix

• 1 – Locate the game in your Steam Library.
• 2 – Right-click on it, and select the options: -“Manage” -> – “Browse local files” – as in the image below:

• 3 – After that, locate the game’s executable, right-click on it, and select: “Properties”.

Compatibility Mode: check the box and choose the option: Windows XP (Service Pack 3)

Also leave the two boxes checked: “Disable full-screen optimizations”; and “Run this program as an administrator”.

Once that’s done, click apply.

Note: If you are unable to change from this screen, click the “Change settings for all users” button.

Make the same selection (indicated in the previous step and in the image) and click apply.

Now just open the game and have fun!
