You should only consider buying evolution books, or downgrading to gold coins later on for gold(do more dungeon instead) or items or just save even more evolution books up.

As said, you can use the evolution book even from 2 to 3 stars, the cost is 5 coins lost times number of missing souls to next stars, so If you have etcetera fafnir at 49/50 souls, it will cost 50-49 = (needed souls)-(souls you have).

In our case we are 1 soul short, 1 soul times 5 blue coins = cost = 5 blue coins, so cost is equal to missing souls to next star * 5.

• And to find returned coins you will have a full book have a value of 1500 coins or 300 souls, ( 1500 / 5 ) =300 souls

So in our case we will have returned coins is 1500- missing souls * 5 = 1500-1 * 5 = 1495 blue coins returned

Another case is 67 souls / out of 150 souls from 4 to 5 stars.

• Here cost is 150 – 67 = 83 in souls
• Blue coins cost is 83 * 5 = 415
• Returned blue coins is 1500-415 = 1085.

Then using an evolution book, you save the gold cost, so it’s good waiting and getting full / full souls for easy heroes you are not going to use, and then use an evolution book on them and getting all the blue coins back.

Remember to double check you have all the needed souls to reach next stars.

Souls shop open when you have a hero at 6 stars, here you can buy rarely orange items, keys, spheres(very usefull for mid and early game players). And jet souls, but really consider If you need jet.
