Idle Huntress – How to Decide the Value of L/D Units

Quick Guide to Value of L/D Units

Something that comes up decently often especially with the recent release of atilla that people ask “hey this l/d unit should I get it” it can seem daunting at first as they are very expensive(even with l/d omni) so I want to try and make a short checklist of things I consider before deciding to invest into one

First and foremost the biggest thing to do is to look at the what the unit does. If the unit is a damage dealer or a tank, the value goes down a little bit unless they have either extremely good base dmg or.good survivability such as fatal immunities and the like. However if the unit is a support like atilla and easily does their job. it’s not a huge loss(as she has done her job) compared to say Thor who is a dmg dealer that wants to be around as long as possible dishing out hits and cannot do either if I don’t have her dragon.

The next thing you want to consider is “what is the relevancy of this unit in the grand scheme of things” as in a 6 months to a year from now. You ideally want the unit you pick up be fairly “future proof” so to speak. Using Thor again as an example, I can get a million “generic dmg dealers” but I am unlikely to get something like say atilla(who is worth her weight in gold)

The last very important one is “availability” so for me I wouldn’t particularly choose to burn l/d omni on anything that I can get from a shop/event in game. This would include Arthur/Dante/Sima yi. Arthur can be acquired via chest opening. And Dante are in specific shops and/or super arena you want to try and aim your l/d acquisition to something that is “truly limited” so for example atilla and/or new banner l/d units. Preferably things with pets and/or awakening skills

In conclusion when you do all of these things and start making better account decisions as a result, you can really up your game and stay ahead of the curve even as a low spender or F2P.

I sincerely hope this was helpful. Good luck to you!
