It’s quite simple.

Just wait 2 cycles for the first room, you have to jump from the first spike platform to the next one just as it drops down. You can walk off the ledge and catch the next spikey platform.

In the lava room, go for the first two spike platforms right away on the screen, then wait on the 3rd one till it’s almost too late to jump, and when its about to be squishin ya, you jump to th elast spieky platform.

In shorts: the platforms rise much slower than they drop, you just gotta wait on the first platform til the next one hits the ceiling & jump during the transition.
