How to Use This Guide

In the batting cage, you’ll see a 3×3 grid. The red ball icon is where you’re aiming, and the yellow ball icon is where the ball is going. It’ll move unexpectedly depending on the type of pitch to make you miss.

Each challenge has 10 pitches. However, the pitches are always the same for each challenge no matter how many times you try them. So I’ve just written them down for you, you just need to put your aiming cursor in the correct square and swing when the ball reaches you.

The squares will be numbered like so:

So square 1 is the top left square. Whenever the guide says 1, put your cursor there. Always ignore where the yellow cursor is, it’ll always move to the square I tell you. All you have to do is swing at the right time.

The guides written for the console version of Judgment do not work with the PC version. Whilst both versions of the game have predetermined outcomes, they use a different set. So these numbers will not work with the console version, and console guides will not work with the PC version.

Helpful Items

You may wish to consider picking up the Batting Gloves and Golden Bat from Shuichi Hatano. He can be found in the hallway through the southern door inside the batting stadium after you complete a few batting challenges. First you must buy the batting gloves from him for 3,000 yen, then after completing a few more challenges, purchase the golden baseball bat for 30,000 yen.

These items will make it significantly easier to get a home run. Just keep checking the hallway for him after each challenge you complete until you own both items.
