Level Zero: Extraction – Advanced Alien Hunting Tactics

Advanced Alien Hunting Tactics from an Alien Main

As a solo, 2 flares in the hotbar at all times with your flashlight, and if you have an extra flashlight you can have both of those as well.

Flashlight will only be EMP’d if it’s on, so tactics like flickering it on and off can cause an EMP to come out prematurely and not disable your flashlight.

If you have 2 flashlights because you looted another within the match from a player, you can swap to the other flash light if your primary one gets EMP’d.

If you pick up multiple flashlights you can turn them on and drop them on the ground especially in front of vents to cut them off from alien supervision.

Don’t hesitate to use a few glow sticks to throw one in each vent or just in a hallway if no vents are around. Always prefer glow sticks over flares, but a glowstick or 2 don’t hurt to keep around unless you have the opportunity to load up on flares.

If you are solo, remember that 2 aliens have 2 spits and 2 EMPs available across them, so choose your tactics accordingly. If 1 alien EMPs and the other one screams, they don’t have enough energy to EMP for at least about 7-10 more seconds.

You can throw down flares to cause aliens to waste there spit, spit doesn’t take forever to come back, but it definitely does NOT come back in seconds, so if you have flares to spare, throw some down on the ground if you are defending an area so that they waste their spit before going in, then you can use your 1 or 2 flares in your hotbar to decimate them in less than 1.5-2 seconds of the flare popping.

Hopefully this guide helped you!
