How is the MP?
You both get your own version of the same map. You share the same employee pool, can sabotage each other, send funds (so you could offer loans to friends), trade technologies (so you could sell your technologies) and with the highest level on the competition setting (tough) the impact of someone releasing a competing game will be much more impactful, so for example if your friend was releasing their next big RPG, you could release your even bigger RPG to try to crush their sales.
You can drive each other into bankruptcy, but it’s not game over, you do receive penalties but you’re able to continue.
Everyone competing on the same map simply would not work since it would greatly limit the growth of everyone.
