Complete F2P Guide
By Xannies.
This is my full F2P guide, consistently updated for upcoming features, events, or changes.
Main City
Common Mall:
Always purchase Telecontrol and Turtle dice, along with gold currency items. The rest is just meh.
Note: You should start refreshing the Common Mall at least twice a day. Once you unlock divine stones(used for upgrading weapons), you can buy them with gold.
Limited Shop:
Everything is a good deal; buy now or later, as it stays there forever.
Guild Shop:
Always buy the basic enhance torrent, and save guild medals for runestones. Avoid purchasing equipment as you regularly obtain it while idling.
Dismissal Shop:
Prioritize fate stones (used for upgrading role stats in the spaceship).
Space Time:
Prioritize Fuma and Odin shards as an F2P; these are SSS heroes you can patiently build.
Xeno Shop:
Everything is fine, but it’s best to save up for the SSS shard.
Island Shop:
It’s entirely up to you to prioritize stats.
Early Game Tip for Shops:
At the very start, in the Common Mall, always buy out the free and gold-purchasable items, Telecontrol, and Turtle dice. In the Guild Shop, buy the basic enhance torrent. These constantly refresh for passing some chapters, providing you with a stack of usable items.
Hero Fort
Manually ascend your fodder heroes; auto-ascending greatly affects your long-term progress.
Witch Prayer
Prioritize Andrea; she is currently one of the best SSS heroes for F2P due to her flexibility.
Fate Oracle
Always buy open slots if you can afford them (a main source for BP). Don’t forget the reset button, which is in the workshop.
Space Time:
Always buy the extra dices, and use Telecontrol dice for rewards. Avoid the Owl shop diamond deals but buy the gold currency deals.
Supreme Realm:
Play manually in higher stages if you want to keep pushing. Avoid using mercenaries at clearable floors. Note that once you use a mercenary and start a battle and lose or quit the game, you wouldn’t be able to use it again. Add friends that are strong and avoid the weak ones for progress.
Bounty:
Above level 3 and beyond are the targets; lower than level 3 is just a waste of resources.
Arena:
Save tickets and go all out a few minutes before reset.
Valley:
Avoid using fire early if you want to avoid redoing the chapters. Check if you could still do something before lighting the fire. If you don’t have any more, you could light it up. The same goes for the portal, as there is only one-way portal. Also, if you are at higher stages in the valley, starting with good relics could make the stage a lot easier. Sometimes, if you really want to pass it and it’s doable, you could try rerunning until you have good relics.
Island:
At higher stages when it gets hard, you could just one by one fulfill the requirements if you are having a hard time doing all the required requirements.
Moving on to Hero Categories
These are the prioritized heroes in each faction.
Empire (The Best Basic Faction):
- Napo, Sironi, Atlanta, Julius.
Situational Heroes (work well even with no ascension): Hohen (Provides energy boost for the whole team), Marco (Effective anti-ult against the highest attack), Isabella (Banishes the highest attack, delaying potential disaster), Nightangle (Ultimate boost, great for burst ults like Hecate and Serqet), Watt (For a sturdy lineup, make him ult first before your main DPS), Margaret (Useful for anti-1-hit situations).
Beastskin:
- Serqet, Pan, Akali, Andarvi.
Situational: Medusa (Especially effective if you have a crit-dependent DPS); others are still viable, not entirely bad.
Sylvan:
- Hathaway, Zuke, Anemia.
Carrie and Naga are also decent; others just fooders.
Nether:
- Hecate, Macaria, Makiko, Anubis, Melinoe.
Others are decent/fooders.
So far, in terms of quality, Empire stands out among the normal factions. Why is it important to build heroes in each faction? Well, in the long run, you would need heroes in each faction, and some would even be required in certain game modes and events. You don’t need to build them all right now; that’s just the list of heroes you could build in the normal faction. But as you progress, you would likely need SSS champs, and some of the legacy champs would be just fooders.
So, legacy would serve as your stepping stone, and slowly you would be building an SSS team comp, though it takes some time as F2P. Building your main 5 as legacy is the best, especially in level sync. For the SSS, you could follow the TW priority list, but as F2P, it’s best for you to have Andrea and Gabriel, very usable even at lower ascension.
And lastly, a hack for the first event boss: If you want a damage boost, use Watt.
