What Is The Zany Step Minigame
The Zany Step minigame is the hardest minigame in MareQuest. Upon completing it the player recieves 17 friends and they unlock the secret steam achievement. However beating the minigame is not easy at all.
Who Is Zany Step?
Zany Step is cream colored pegasus with reddish pink eyes, purple socks, a purple mane, and a curly purple tail.
The Minigame
How to Find It
The Zany Step minigame can only be found in the sand biome and only starts appearing after the player has made 5 friends. Also it can only be accessed during the daytime.
Minigame Overview
Once the player accesses the minigame they are taken to the inside of an unknown building and on the floor are giant piano keys. The keys flash green one at a time, the player must step on the green key and press SPACE on it. By doing this it has you play the song, “Heart and Soul”
What Makes It Difficult
The player has only a limited amount of time to hit the piano key, and they must do so at the right speed so that is goes with the song’s base clef that plays in the background.
If the player hits a note too late or too early, or hits a wrong note then they get a strike and after 3 strikes you lose the minigame.
Tips
The notes are the same everytime, you must be quick to get to them but remember to time it right. thats all i can really say.
