Quick Guide to Spider-Verse Deck
For those who enjoy thematic decks and love the Spider people, I have something for you all! So stop crawling and swing to this deck, a deck that uses all the 7 Spider-Man that we have in the game.
In its core the deck plays quite similar to other Angela/Hope+Move decks, but the “Spider pack” adds some spicy, unexpected, move cards that can be a MENACE! to our opponent.
General Tips
- Avoid playing Iron Fist and Ghost Spider in the early game (turns 1, 2 and 3) we can make an exception if a location encourages us to do it (Gamma Lab, TVA, The Raft)
- Because of Ironfist, avoid playing Kraven on the right most location.
- Because of Ironfist, avoid playing Angela and Hope on the left most location.
- Is preferable to play Angela and Hope in the same location.
- Try to prepare a Spiderman 2099 kill on turn 5
- Either ramp with Hope so you can play 2099 + IronFist/GhostSpider on turn 5
- Or finish turn 4 with Iron Fist so he is ready for 2099 on turn 5.
- Be careful with your space, remember that if you plan to use Ghost Spider with Spiderman 2099, you will need 2 free spots on the targeted location.
Pro Tips
- Spiderman is a good tempo play, but he has a huge disruption potential, so be careful when playing him asap, could be more useful later.
- Without Hope Summers, we might not be able to play Kitty on the final turn. So be careful with how much energy you invest on Kitty if Hope have not been draw.
- You can use GhostSpider and IronFist with other cards that are not Spiderman 2099.
- For example play Spider Woman on the Angela lane adding some power with her On Reveal and Angelas ability and then move her away to support other location.
- Or use Spiderman to move a card out of his lane, but then move Spiderman back to support the lane he just left.
- Seek a chance and PRAY. A lot of the cards depend on RNG, sometimes you have to hope for the best and go with it.
