New World – How to Hide Your Helmet

This guide will show you how to hide your helmet – so you can have it equipped with all of its armor stats, but it will appear invisible on your character. This can be useful if you have a helmet with beastly stats but you don’t like how it looks.

Guide to Hide Your Helmet (Step-by-Step)

Step 1

Open your inventory and click on your equipped helmet, like this:

…then click ‘Change Skin’.

Step 2

Find the skin called ‘Hide Headgear’, it looks like a hat with a red X over it…

Select it and hit confirm.

All Done!

That’s it! Now your helmet will be hidden.

This was a really basic tutorial, but I was just playing New World and found this option when I was browsing my skins. It’s a nice little feature, so I thought I’d share it with you guys.
