OUTERPLANE – Investment/Priority List: After 1st Year

List of Investment/Priority

Wanted to share my thoughts on who would be worth investing resources into based on my experience with the game. I see this list as an idea of what kind of party players would like to run as they progress through mainly the PvE side of the game, with the focus towards PvP being more on the sideline until everything else is taken care of and cleared.

Best

The ones leading the charge. These are the heroes that I highly recommend putting most of your early resources towards as they can make story, event and challenge progression smoother than the rest even when they are 3 star.

Great

The second-in-command that one ought to invest alongside the leader or right after. They help insure that battles are kept in your favor with as little worry as possible. These characters are the next options to consider looking forward to obtaining during your recruitment sessions and selections.

Good

Solid additions to the team for when certain roles are needed to be filled. Consider investing into them when you’re ready to challenge raids and Hard versions of stages and Tower floors later on.

Extra Resources

Heroes that are not necessarily a priority to go all in for until everyone else above that you like are online and you’re comfortable enough to throw in any leftover materials to gradually build them up.

Niche/PvP

Can be absolute menaces when it comes to PvP content, but are good to average in PvE. They can work outside of PvP, but unless they’re decked out with great gear, or you have access to a strongly built support friend, there are many other choices that can perform more comfortably in PvE to where it’s best not to go crazy investing into these; unless you’re going hardcore into PvP, which is a small portion of the game in my opinion. All in all, 3 stars you wouldn’t really want to appear as off-banners when pulling, with the exception of D. Astei and Mene.

Not Worth

Self-explanatory. The four 3 stars you really don’t want to see appear when getting a 3 star from your pulls. Unless you’re aiming to do a budget guide on clearing harder battles, it’s just not worth the time and materials to put into any of the ones listed here.

At the end of the day, go with whoever caught your eye the most and build a team around them if you wish. Have fun!
