HTL 5 Tank Build Guide

I created a Privateer loadout built around high HP, armor, and team defensives- while still providing support to my teammates and long range group damage (x3 Big Guns). I like this build because the sword and shield aesthetic is my favorite to use on Privateer and feeling like a protector of the team is fun!

My gear features 4 pieces with HTL, 2 Big Guns for x3 of them, and additional healing, defensives, and damage.

I use Sewer King’s Boots to provide an AOE Triton’s Chorus, boosting my already high survivability AND my entire team’s. Great for any “squishies” on my team like Witchdoctors and Swashbucklers.

My reasoning for using Bound Oni’s Bulwark isn’t simply for the HTL, but also for the increase in base Armor and Magic Resist. The more tank-like I feel, the better!

• 3638 HP, 105 Armor, 50 Magic Resist.

My pet grants me Elusive 4 for even MORE dodge (survivability again!), an extra team heal (Regroup), a buff to any Swashbucklers on my team (Cloud Spirit), Riposte to proc my high dodge with Elusive 4, an extra personal defensive (Kraken’s Lament), and HTL and Repel as necessary.
