Predecessor – AD/AP Morigesh Build Guide

I figured I would share the Mori build that I cooked up! Some call me crazy, is it optimal, I have no idea, could it be better, maybe, but its a lot of fun and its the only thing I play. I play Mori offlane because I want to bully melees all game, and you’ll outrange an offlaner more often than you’ll outrange a midlaner!

Build Guide to Morigesh

Crest – Soulbearer

I run it even into other Morigesh. Id rather move and lifesteal, than be totally immune, but a sitting duck. I’m sure epoch can be good, especially into scary things, but I like soulbearer for my aggro playstyle.

First item

Combustion – Flat scaling is good to get online early, and scales with AP over time. CD reduced by spamming things, very good. Try to get the proc on your enemy lane and not the wave.

Second item

Infernum – Hear me out. Morigesh passive ticks count as instances of damage to activate infernum burn. One mark and walk away = they burn. Burn is good. Also has mana and ability haste. Once you get these two items online, you are a demon.

Third item

Mutilator – You can buy this fourth, but I prefer it third. It is more on-hit burst than megacosm, but less sustain damage if you are just using q and walking away. Better for boxing people. Also has omnivamp and ability haste, two things we like!

Fourth item

Megacosm – Burn is good, nothing else needs to be said

Fifth item

Noxia – % health damage is always good, low cooldown, more burst, eats tanks.

Final item

Oblivion Crown – The bonus AP from this item helps make up for our lack of AP on Infernum and Mutilator

Items I haven’t tested much – tainted scepter. Seems okay, but not sure what I would replace for it.

Source – 1450 MMR me. Probably is a bit more scuffed at higher lobbies, but is smoking people for me right now. Would full AP be better? Maybe/Probably. But lighting the world on fire is fun, and having extra attack damage for towers and objectives is always nice too. Fangtooth primal burn killed this TB from ult, no other dmg.
