Predecessor – How to Steel Offlane

Tips to Steel Offlane

How to play offlane in general

Learn how to control the wave. You cant really win by trading with a Steel.

  • If your wave is bigger it pushes.
  • If your wave is as big as the enemy’s and you’re pushed INTO him (so wave doesn’t collide in the middle of your lane) then his wave will “bounce” (means push) back to you. Same the other way around.

Try to outfarm him. Depending on what hero you play ofc.

As a Steel you want to always hit your enemy when you got spells off cooldown but never fully engage only when there is kill potential.

Steel offlane

Always play around your cooldowns. Dont trade for too long. What i see good steel players do is to hit their stun hit then they do one more autoattack and dash through me back behind their wave into safety and they keep doing that till im low then they ult.

But Steel offlane isnt that good in my opinion.

Riktor offlane is way stronger. What Steel does in 5 trades, Riktor can do by hitting one good hook.

Steel offlane isn’t that bad but there is for sure better. Sevarog is in a really good state rn.
