The solution removes the black bars from the game at 21:9 and wider as far as possible within the limitations of its static backgrounds.

- Unpack the files to the game directory.
- To uninstall, simply remove or move the files.

- Tested on the latest Steam version primarily at 2560×1080.

Important Note for Linux Users
For Linux users wanting to use the fix you’d need to also set launch options in addition to copying the files:

Ultrawide fix is awesome on 5120×1440!
Unfortunately I only saw this after finishing the game and getting all achievements and trivia cards.
Gotta replay it anyway 😀
