Transferring Guide

Transferring saves from the old version to the new one (PC)

Move or copy existing saves from:

  • C:*User Profile*\Saved Games\Risen\SaveGames

to:

  • C:*User Profile*\AppData\Local\Risen\SaveGames

Transferring saves from the old version to the new one (Steam Deck)

Move or copy you Savegames from:

  • /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/40300/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Saved Games/Risen/SaveGames

to:

  • /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/40300/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Risen/SaveGames

Legacy Game Branch

If you have problems with the new version of the game, you can switch to the old version.

In the library right click on “Risen” and open Properties.

In the “Betas” tab of the game properties select old version.
