Squad Busters – Pinata Festival Tips and Tricks

Useful Tips and Tricks for Pinata Party

Tips and tricks for those struggling to averaging 7-8 sticks a match. This may net you over 15, but will almost always guarantee you 7 if you survive the whole round.

  • The spawn rate of sticks is far higher on the 3rd and 2nd level of the map than the center
  • Shooter heros (especially Bow) seem to have a higher kill drop rate
  • The sticks spawn on specific areas of the map each game. Meaning some areas will spawn 0 sticks no matter how many you things you kill, uncover, or chop down. And other micro areas (3% areas of the map) might drop you 6 sticks in 30 seconds.
  • Sticks are also sometimes attached to certain troop spawns. So you kill a troop, walk away to let it respawn, return to kill again, and now you’ve just farmed two sticks in 10 seconds.
  • The spawners on the bridges by the places you start the match have at least 1 stick 60% of the time.
  • Medium sized monsters have the highest stick drop rate
  • The best way to farm is to zone a 10% area of the map that is yielding high drop rates for the duration
  • If you are zoning a mini (5 to 10%) region of the map and have no sticks in the first 30 seconds, that zone is not going to drop any sticks the whole match, so you want to run to a new region and spend about 10-15 seconds there to see if you get sticks. If you do, stay there
  • Sometimes the game will stop dropping sticks if you are getting too many in a row from troops or trees. When this happens you need to kill one to break trend and restart the drop rate.
