Guide for completing group quests and solo quests in the Causality link.

Introduction

Welcome, a few quick tips before we begin:

If you’re looking for a character, you can find their location listed in their profile on the Causality Link.

Group Quests (1-5)

There are a total of 10 group quests in the game of them. Progressing these quests usually just means equipping the correct accessory and talking to the designated NPC.

All NPCs related to Group Quests are marked with ! on the map,

  1. Extracurricular Affair

Completed in chapter 2. This questline is inside the school.

  1. Starts with Jou Tokihara on 1F of school. Goal is Shizuku on rooftop with Slapstick accessory.
  2. Starts with Jou Tokihara on 1F. Goal is 2F Toko Kurokawa with Judgement accessory.
  3. Starts with Megumi on 2F. Goal is Jou Tokihara on 1F with Friendly Reminder accessory.
  4. Starts with Toko Kurokawa on 1F. Goal is Mizuho Kuraishi on 2F with Prying Eyes accessory.
  5. Starts with Kotaro Uesaka on 2F. Goal is Megumi Arata on 1F with Scoopster accessory.
  6. Starts with Shizuku Yamanashi on Rooftop. Goal is Megumi Arata on 2F with Open Heart accessory.

Reward is ‘Overdrive’ accessory.

  1. Prince of Lettuce

Completed at start of chapter 3. This questline revolves around the Garden dungeon.

To start this quest you first need to view the event with Kaoru Uno a bit north of First Garden entrance.

  1. Starts with Kaoru Uno who will be in Third Garden(southernmost area, pre last SW one). Goal is Fumiaki Kagami in 2nd Garden (close to 3rd garden entry)
  2. Starts with Fumiaki Kagami (this time 3rd garden North). Goal is Runa Hinami (3rd garden Court of Tranquility save point) with Jester accessory.
  3. Starts with Eiji Sera (2nd garden Hedge Maze save). Goal is Kaoru Uno (2nd garden, Greenhouse a little bit to the east).
  4. Starts with Kaoru Uno (his usual 3rd garden place). Goal is Eiji Sera (3rd garden, Court of Tranquility) with Burst of Courage accessory.
  5. Starts with Yuki Ogawa (3rd garden, Court). Goal is Kaoru Uno (1st garden entrance) with Facade accessory.
  6. Starts with Takaaki Yahiro (2nd garden, Hedge Maze). Goal is Kaoru Uno (Greenhouse a little bit to the east).

Reward is Utmost Effort accessory.

  1. Eat Your Heart Out

Completed closer to end of chapter 3. This questline revolves around school Cafeteria.

  1. Starts with Chinatsu Wakamiya in School Cafeteria(2F). Goal is Hitomi Yamagishi nearby with Marketeer accessory.
  2. Starts with Makiko Yanagawa nearby. Goal is Hiroshi Kasai nearby with Peacemaker accessory.
  3. Starts with Hiroshi Kasai nearby. Goal is Chinatsu Wakamiya(1F courtyard north) with Coeur au Chocolat accessory.
  4. Starts with Makiko Yanagawa in Cafeteria. Goal is Futoshi Usutani in 1F courtyard again.
  5. Starts with Chinatsu Wakamiya in Cafeteria. Goal is Futoshi Usutani nearby with Rallying Cry accessory.

Reward is ‘Self-Efficacy’ accessory.

  1. Extra! Extra! Journalism Club Showdown

The fourth quest.

  1. Starts with Akane Morisaki(school 2F north left club room in the middle). Goal is Reo Narushima (school 1F center) with Love Inspection accessory.
  2. Can instantly start it with Akane Morisaki again. Goal is Hiroyuki Inamoto (rooftop) with ‘Presence of Mind’ accessory.
  3. Starts with Hiroyuki Inamoto (rooftop). Goal is Akane Morisaki (journalist club) with Point of Honor accessory.
  4. Starts with Hiroyuki Inamoto(journalist club). Goal is Mimi ♥♥♥♥♥♥ (ANNEX 2F, I recommend Haunted House save fast travel) with ‘Reporter’s Soul’
  5. Starts with Akane Morisaki nearby. Goal is Shungo Takamae (Annex 1fF, I recommend ‘piloti entrance’ save point) with Phantom Metronome accessory.

Reward is ‘Paradigm Shift’ accessory.

  1. Hustled and Bustled

Completed closer to end of chapter 5 This quest line revolves around a gang in the Back Alley(downstairs level of the ‘Okitama Station square’) – it has save point nearby you can use for fast traveling there once you get there once.

  1. Starts and ends with Ryusuke Domon – you need to get him a Croquette Sandwich from the school cafeteria.
  2. Starts with Akito Yabushita in the gang place. Goal is Seiichi Yanai(garden 1F Dahlia garden fast travel) with Reach for the Stars accessory.
  3. Starts with Tsuyoshi Hatakemura in the park nearby. Goal is Erina Matoba(just upstairs of said park) with Legworks accessory.
  4. Starts with Ryusuke Domon in the gang place. Goal is Rei Fujisaki(Hospital 1F main waiting save point) with Sunday Afternoon accessory.
  5. Starts with Tsuyoshi Hatakemura in the park nearby. Goal is Ryusuke Domon(usual gang place) with Happy To Help accessory.

Reward is ‘Arbitrary Hierarchy’ accessory.

Group Quests (6-10)

  1. Love, Loss and the Omega Nebula

To start this one you first need to view an event marked by Main Quest sign at school 1F to the south.

  1. Starts with Kanako Ichimaru (Planetarium 1F). Goal is Ao Sasaguchi on 2F SW.
  2. Can be started instantly with Kanako Ichimaru. Goal is Yukino Inui (Hospital 1F main waiting save point) with Private Eye accessory.
  3. Starts with Ao Sasaguchi (Planetarium 2F, west of cafe save point). Goal is Kanako Ichimaru (School 1F).
  4. Starts with Tadashi Watanabe (Planetarium 3F limited gift shop). Goal is Ao Sasaguchi (School 3F library)
  5. Starts with Yukino Inui (Planetarium 1F). Goal is Ao Sasaguchi (Planetarium 2F) with Ball of Energy accessory.

Reward is ‘Mindfulness’ accessory.

  1. The Part-Time Tyrant

The seventh quest.

  1. Starts and ends with Yuri Nagasawa in Station Square. Buy her Specialty Ketchup from convenience store.
  2. Starts with Sakura Katsuki nearby. Goal is Kei Haguro nearby with Negotiator accessory.
  3. Starts with Yuri Nagasawa nearby. Goal is Kazuo Okazaki (Garden 1F entrance) with Final Disposition accessory.
  4. Can instantly start with Yuri Nagasawa again. Goal is Takashi Aida (Ekinaka Plaza of Okitama Station) with Enigmatic accessory.
  5. Starts with Takashi Aida(a bit north from Yuri now). Goal is Yuri Nagasawa (usual spot) with Last Hope accessory.

Reward is ‘Ascension’ accessory.

  1. For The Love of Regret

To be able to access this group quest you need to view an event in School Library (3F)

  1. Starts with Riichi Tomaru (Okitama Station, NW from Tsunaga Line Accessway save point). Goal is Saki Hachiya(north part of Okitama Station Square) with Manacles accessory.
  2. Starts with Hiroshi Kuno (just a bit south from where you finished prev quest). Goal is Riichi Tomaru (school 3F library) with Cautious Gear accessory.
  3. Starts with Saki Hachiya (School Library 3F). Goal is Riichi Tomaru (School Rooftop) with Mental Hygiene accessory.
  4. Starts with Nozomi Kira (Okitama Station, East from Tsunaga Line Accessway save). Goal is Riichi Tomaru (Station Square bottom level) with Spy Disguise accessory.
  5. Starts with Hiroshi Kuno (Tsunaga Line Platform 2 save point). Goal is Riichi Tomaru (Station Square bottom level) with Resist The Abyss accessory.

Reward is ‘Risk Assessment’ accessory.

  1. Birth of a Salesman

To enable this quest you first need to watch an event in the waiting room of the Hospital.

  1. Starts with Yugo Nakajima (Hospital 1F waiting room). Goal is Konosuke Uragami (Hospital 4F east) with Multi-Analyzer accessory.
  2. Can be instantly started and finished with Yugo Nakajima. He wants Pharmaceutical Data which you probably already have. If not – it’s in Hospital 1F Surgical Waiting Room (the NW part of 1F)
  3. Starts with Kanata Sasakuza nearby. Goal is Taku Kohira (Hospital 5F small western room near Nurse Station save) with Master Mentor accessory.
  4. Starts with Tsuyoshi Itoda (Hospital 5F near elevator save point). Goal is Yugo Nakajima (Station Square) with Funny Business accessory.
  5. Starts with Yugo Nakajima (Hospital 1F waiting room). Goal is Tsuyoshi Itoda (Hospital 4F NW) with Special Support accessory.

Reward is ‘Innocent World’ accessory.

  1. From Nurse to Worse

The last quest.

  1. Starts with Anzu Sasakura (5F west from Nurse Station save in a small room with chest). Goal is Kaho Tonoda nearby with Smartglasses accessory.
  2. Starts with Yoh Tsumura (Hospital 1F waiting room save point). Goal is Natsu Mimura (Station Square) with The Rock accessory.
  3. Starts with Rio Hashida (Hospital 4F, to access it take the elevator). Goal is Anzu Sasakura (4F SW corner) with Gentleman accessory.
  4. Can instantly start with Rio Hashida again. Goal is Anzu Sasakura (north of Hospital 1F waiting room) with Bystander accessory.
  5. Starts with Anzu Sasakura (her Hospital 5F place). Goal is Rinko Kasahara nearby with Judgement Call accessory.
  6. Can insantly start with Anzu Sasakura. Goal is Kiri Gunma (Hospital 4F NW) with High Voltage accessory.

Reward is ‘Grand Future’ accessory.
