One Trick. That’s It.

The game will only start spawning ammo for a weapon after you purchase the weapon from the vending machine. Feel free to pick up and deliver the schematics but don’t waste money on making the weapon.

You’ll get the Stun Baton, Hand Cannon, GRP, and Riot Shotgun for free.

The Tactical Pistol is a worse Hand Cannon. The Skunk is a weaker Riot Shotgun. The Assault Rifle is too slow to matter and you get it too late to make use of.

Also, not having to fumble through multiple weapons and reload all of them is a bonus.

If you focus on maxing out the free weapons you’ll have plenty of money to spare for ammo, meds, upgrades. Once you have your weapons maxed out, they’ll do more than enough damage to get you through the game.

Pro tip: Get extended clips unlocked for each weapon ASAP to store more ammo. Upgrade your GRP frequently. There are late game encounters that the GRP will make extremely easy. Just toss enemies into hazards and profit.

Upgrade melee at your own discretion. I personally didn’t like the system so I avoided melee whenever possible.
