Trying to change resolution, but changing the number in video settings did nothing to the actual resolution and would always reset? Read the tips below.
It fixed by swapping off of window to fullscreen > correct resolution > Esc.
It worked after doing the same thing like 5 times.
You can also hit ALT+ENTER and then the resolution will update! You can then change it from fullscreen to windowed to borderless or w/e you want.
