Later levels have violet switches on a tile which cannot be seen when a figure stands on it. Like in this one are two switches, one viewable and one hidden under a figure:
Moving every piece around randomly searching for that one switch you haven’t seen yet is a tiresome process and does not really belong to the puzzle in my opinion. Instead you can use this handy trick to find the switch instantly!
Repeatedly hit the Reset button in the upper right corner. This will start the reset animation where the figures shrink in size until they disappear and then immediately reappear. During this animation for a few frames you can see the board without the figures. Here is a screenshot of a frame where you can make out the second hidden switch position and its type.
Now you know where the hidden switch is and for what type of figure it is and can start thinking about the puzzle instead of searching in the dark.
