How-To

• Try clicking on the 3 lines thing on the login screen.
• There are 2 buttons on the left side.
• The top one said “account”.
• When you click on it, there is an option to switch to facebook account. Maybe try switching to that instead of your steam account.

Note: Starting fresh with another steam account should work as well.

UPD. Follow above but choose the second/bottom option on the left, it is “Delete Account” menu, You just need to accept all checkbox and confirm to delete the account.
